1:50 a.m. Officers met with Hardeeville Police Officers at the Jasper County Detention Center to serve warrants on Alan Lorenzo Mikell. Mikell had outstanding warrants from an incident on October 20, 2021. Mikell was charged with failure to stop for blue light and possession of a controlled substance.

2:10 a.m. Officers responded to Bobop's Store, 8548 Grahamville Road, for an activated alarm. Officers discovered a broken door and were able to determine that items were stolen prior to their arrival. An investigation is ongoing.

9:08 a.m. Officers responded to a residence on McTeer Avenue for an activated alarm.

7:13 a.m. Officers responded to 523 Nimmer Turf Rd in reference to stolen cables from a vehicle.

10:42 a.m. Officers responded to 221 James L Taylor Dr, Quality Inn, in reference to a stolen generator from the back of a truck

4:41 p.m. Officers responded to the 24 mile marker of Interstate 95 in reference to a motor vehicle collision. The incident was already being investigated by SC Highway Patrol

3:06 a.m. Officers responded to 8250 E Main St, EnMarket, in reference to several patrons on scene that were loitering. The subjects departed the location without incident.

3:47 a.m. Officers respond to the 24 mile marker of Interstate 95 in reference to a white male walking. Officers canvassed the area however did not locate any persons.

7:07 a.m. Officers responded to W Main St @ Russell St in reference to a motor vehicle collision. A silver GMC Canyon and Ford Focus collided however no injuries were reported.

3:00 p.m. Officers responded to 73 S Green St, Family Dollar, in reference to a suspicous incident. Officers were advised that customers could not locate an employee. Officers checked the location and located several employees

5:28 p.m. Officers responded to the 22 sb of Interstate 95 in reference to assisting an RV that had a flat tire.

10:15 p.m. A reckless driver was reported to be traveling on Grahamville Rd passing McDonalds

11:23 p.m. Officer's responded to 107 1st Ave, Baytree Apartments, in reference to a report of shots fired. Upon arrival officers learned that an unknown subject did fire several rounds from a firearm in the parking lot. In the course of the incident several vehicles and apartments were struck. one male subject was struck in the elbow. The male subject was transported to Coastal Carolina Hopsital with non life threatening injuries and was listed in stable condition. Investigators arrived on scene and processed the area for physical evidence. The case is still under investigation and any information in regards to the victim, suspect(s), and other pertinent information will be released at a later time by investigators.

April 13

6:13 a.m. Officers responded to the 22 mile marker south bound of Interstate 95 in reference to a motor vehicle collision. No collision was located by officers nor Fire-Rescue

7:28 a.m. Officers responded to 221 James L Taylor Dr, Quality Inn, in reference to subject(s) unidentified taking misc. tools from a vehicle parked in the parking lot.

11:20 a.m. Officers responded to 11965 North Jacob Smart Blvd, Sunoco, in reference to misc items taken from inside the store. The exact location and description of suspect(s) is pending further investigation.

4:07 p.m. Officers responded to a residence on Bees Creek Rd in reference to assisting Jasper County Sheriffs Office with an unsecured door.

6:34 p.m. Officers responded to Henry Lawton Dr @ Firefly Dr in reference to a vehicle that ran off the roadway. Scott's Towing arrived on scene and towed the vehicle. No injuries were reported.

April 12

1:04 a.m. Officers responded to 11433 North Jacob Smart Blvd in reference to a civil complaint

6:46 a.m. Officers responded to 258 Wise St in reference to an activated residential alarm.

8:14 a.m. Officers responded to 8176 E Main St in reference to an activated commercial alarm.

9:45 a.m. Officers located an abandoned silver lexus sedan at the 18 mile marker north bound of Interstated 95. The vehicle was reported to be left at the location for several weeks. Eric's Towing arrived on scene and towed the vehicle.

2:33 p.m. Officers responded to a residence on McCormack Ave in reference to conducting a welfare check on persons that formally lived at the location however no contact was made with anyone at the residence.

5:39 p.m. Officers responded to Piggly Wiggly of Ridgeland in reference to an unidentified female shoplifting several items from the location. The female alledgedly placed several items in a plastic bag and left the location without rendering payment for the items. The matter is still under investigation.

7:59 a.m. Officers responded to Bobop's, 8548 Grahamvulle Road, for a female attempting to pass a counterfeit bill. The suspect, Sabrina Merrier Hurst, was also in possession of a stolen vehicle from Chatham Vounty, Georgia. Hurst was arrested for possession of a stolen vehicle and transported to the Jasper County Detention Center.

April 5

3:18 a.m. Officers responded to Family Dollar, 73 South Green Street, for a suspicious vehicle.

3:42 a.m. Officers responded to Car Quest, 11059 North Jacob Smart Boulevard, for an activated alarm.

5:04 a.m. Officers responded to East Main Street for a vehicle collision.

9:52 a.m. A vehicle was reported as driving recklessly at the 28 mile marker south bound on I-95.

11:30 a.m. Officers responded to Baytree Apartments, 107 1st Avenue, for a suspicious vehicle.

12:32 p.m. Officers responded to Woodridge Apartments, 414 South Logan Street, for suspicious activity at an apartment. Officers located Johmathan Cleveland Owens on the property. Owens had outstanding warrants with the Ridgeland Police Department. Owens fled the scene but was captured near East Main Street. Owens was arrested on warrants for Domestic Violence, 2nd Degree and two counts of Burglary, 2nd Degree. Owens was transported to the Jasper County Detention Center.

3:04 p.m. Officers responded to Grays Highway for a vehicle collision.

4:24 p.m. Officers responded to the 21 mile marker north bound on I-95 for a motorist assist.

10:27 p.m. Officers responded to Camping World, 401 Sycamore Drive, for an activated alarm.

11:25 p.m. Officers responded to New Hong Kong Restaurant, 8176 East Main Street, for an activated alarm.

April 4

2:45 a.m. A vehicle was reported as driving recklessly at the 11 mile marker north bound on I-95.

9:30 a.m. Officers responded to the 23 mile marker north bound on I-95 for a motorist assist.

11:41 a.m. Officers responded to the 21 mile marker north bound on I-95 for a motorist assist.

3:55 p.m. Officers responded to a residence on 1st Avenue to assist EMS with a medical call.

4:07 p.m. Officers responded to North Green Street for a civl matter. Officers located Kelsie Francine Dobyle on scene. Dobyle was wanted on an outstanding warrant. Dobyle was arrested for assault and battery, 3rd degree, and transported to the Jasper County Detention Center.

5:26 p.m. Officers responded to Christ Central Misson, 11754 North Jacob Smart Boulevard, for a deceased male subject. An investigation is ongoing. No foul play is suspected.

7:21 p.m. Officers responded to the 23 mile marker north bound on I-95 for a motorist assist.

9:50 p.m. Officers responded ot a residence on South Logan Street for a domestic dispute.

11:31 p.m. Officers responded to the Plantation Inn, 11433 North Jacob Smart Boulevard, for a domestic dispute.

April 3

2:04 a.m. A vehicle was reported as driving recklessly at the 17 mile marker north bound on I-95.

2:26 a.m. Officers responded to New Hong Kong Restaurant, 8176 East Main Street, for an activated alarm.

4:04 a.m. Officers responded to a residence on Shadetree Street for a 911 hang up call.

11:26 a.m. Officers responded to the 22 mile marker south bound on I-95 for a motorist assist.

12:42 p.m. A vehicle was reported as driving recklessly at the 21 mile marker south bound on I-95.

2:00 p.m. Officers responded to the 22 mle marker north bound on I-95 for a motorist assist.

2:18 p.m. Officers responded to Grays Highway for a welfare check.

3:26 p.m. A vehicle was reported as driving recklessly at the 28 mile marker south bound on I-95.

5:10 p.m. Officers responded to Baytree Apartments, 107 1st Avenue, for an assault and battery. As a result of the incident, a waarant affidavit has been submitted charging Omar Scott with Domestic Violence, 3rd Degree.

6:24 p.m. Officers conducted a ytraffic stop on a vehicle on North Jacob Smart Boulevard. The driver of the vehicle, Incenio Mejio, was arrested for Disorderly Conduct and Open Container. Mejio was transported to the Jasper County Detention Center.

10:26 p.m. Officers responded ot Walgreen's, 8225 East Main Street, for a suspicious person.

April 2

12:13 a.m. Officers responded to Advance Auto Parts, 10424 North Jacob Smart Boulevard, for a suspicious vehicle.

12:15 a.m. Officers encountered a suspicious male in the area of Regions Bank on North Jacob Smart Boulevard. While speaking with the subject, officers detected the odor of marijuana on the subject. The male, Joshua Alan Ayers, produced a small quantity of marijuana. Officers later discovered a qauntity of methamphetamine on the person of Ayers. Ayers was arrested for possession of methamphetamine and transported to the Jasper County Detention Center.

4:05 a.m. A vehicle was reported as driving recklessly at the 28 mile marker south bound on I-95.

7:01 a.m. A vehicle was reported as driving recklessly at the 18 mile marker north bound on I-95.

10:21 a.m. Officers responded to the Dollar Tree, 11090 North Jacob Smart Boulevard, for an unsecured door.

1:19 p.m. Officers responded to Baytree Apartments, 107 1st Avenue, for an assault and battery. As a result of the incident, warrant affidavits have been submitted charging Tyshawn Payne with Domestic Violence, 2nd Degree and Assault and Battery, 3rd Degree.

4:28 p.m. Officers responded to North Jacob Smart Boulevard for a vehicle collision.

5:48 p.m. Officers responded to Kingdom Touch Ministries, 6714 Tillman Road, for an activated alarm.

5:53 p.m. Officers responded to Baytree Aopartments, 107 1st Avenue, for a report of loud music.

April 1

1:32 a.m. Officers responded to Turpin Park on North Logan Street for a suspicious vehicle.

7:52 a.m. Officers responded to Grays Highway for a vehicle collision.

12:26 p.m. Officers met with a complainant on North Jacob Smart Boulevard in reference to harasment.

9:39 p.m. Officers responded to Captain Bill Road for a suspicious person.

10:18 p.m. Officers responded to a residence on Trout Street for report of harassment.
