4:32 p.m. Officers responded to Jacob Smart Blvd near Mango Dr in reference to a white Honda Accord abandoned and partially blocking a lane of travel. Officers were unable to located anyone in or near the vehicle. A-1 Towing arrived on scene and removed the vehicle to clear the roadway. 5:$

7:52 p.m. Officers responded to a residence on Green St in reference to a vehicle being parked near the driveway of the complainant.

9:53 p.m. A reckless driver was reported traveling on Grays Hwy near Volunteer Park Dr.

10:03 p.m. Officers responded to a business on Grahamville Rd in reference to an activated alarm.

10:21 p.m. Officers responded to Lowcountry Dr near Old House Rd in reference to assisting a disabled motorist.

11:49 p.m. Officers responded to 9935 South Jacob Smart Blvd, Jasper County Farmer's Market, in reference to a stolen vehicle. Upon arrival it was learned that 4-5 individuals stopped the victim in the parking lot and demanded that he exit his vehicle. The subjects then left the scene in the victim's silver Chevrolet Camaro heading south. A short time later the Hardeeville Police Department did observe the vehicle traveling south on US 17. The officers attempted a traffic stop by activating blue lights and sirens however the vehicle refused to stop and a vehicle pursuit was initiated. The vehicle continued on over the Talmadge Bridge into the State of Georgia where Georgia law enforcement authorities became involved. Officers ultimately lost sight of the vehicle however did eventually locate the vehicle unoccupied a short time later. The incident is under investigation and details will be updated when available. Investigation is still on going however arrest warrants were secured on Victor Randal Cervantes for the charges of: Carjacking, Armed Robbery(2 Counts), Possession of a firearm during the commission of a violent crime.

1:44 a.m. Officers responded to a residence on Green St in reference to a subject knocking on a door. The subject departed the location prior to the arrival of law enforcement.

8:02 a.m. Officers responded to a location on Wise St in reference to a stolen vehicle. It was learned that a vehicle was taken the night before without permission. The vehicle is a burgundy 2016 Hyundai Tucson bearing South Carolina license plate # QRW 108. The vehicle has been entered as stolen.

9:47 a.m. Officers responded to a residence on Wiley St in reference to the homeowner observing someone on his property via surveillance camera. Officers arrived on scene and made contact with the individual who was doing work for Hargray.

June 7

2:01 a.m. Officers assisted the Jasper County Sheriff's Office with a shots fired call in the Mitchellville area.

2:03 p.m. Officers responded to Green St near Malphrus St in reference to a motor vehicle collision.

5:06 p.m. Officers received a report of a reckless driver traveling south on Interstate 95

5:23 p.m. Officers conducted a traffic stop on a blue Toyota Camry on Grahamville Rd for having a tag on the vehicle registered to another vehicle. Contact was made with the driver, Jose Najera Moreno, who did not possess a valid driver's license. Najera Moreno was arrested, transported, and booked into the Jasper County Detention Center.

7:01 p.m. Officers responded to South Jacob Smart Blvd in reference to assisting a disabled motorist.

7:08 p.m. Officers observed a Chrysler 300 on US17 traveling 65 mph in a 45 mph zone. Officers conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle and made contact with driver, Arley Vazquez. Vazquez did not have a valid driver's license. Vazquez was arrested, transported, and booked into the Jasper County Detention Center.

6:42 a.m. Officers were conducting patrol on Interstate 95 near the 24 mile marker south bound when they observed a GMC Terrain traveling 90mph in a 70mph zone. Officers conducted a traffic stop and made contact with the driver, Inocente Juan, who had a suspended SC Driver's License. Juan was arrested, transported, and booked into the Jasper County Detention Center.
