3:49 a.m. Officers responded to 12008 North Jacob Smart Blvd, Jasper County Detention Center, in reference to property damage. Officers made contact with Jail staff who advised an inmate, Marc Kaikala, did intentionally cause damage to the fire sprinkler system in his cell. Staff advised that Kaikala was the sole occupant of the cell and the result of Kaikala's actions caused safety concerns for other inmates. Kaikala was subsequently charged with malicious injury to jail property.

Upon arrival contact was made with the subject, Darrell Grayson, and it was confirmed that Grayson was in fact trespassed. Grayson was arrested, transported, and booked into the Jasper County Detention Center.

6:14 a.m. Officers responded to Interstate 95 near the 21 mile marker north bound in reference to a disabled motorist.

9:24 a.m. Officers responded to a business on North Jacob Smart Blvd in reference to an activated alarm.

11:47 a.m. Officers responded to Interstate 95 near the 21 mile marker south bound in reference to a motor vehicle collision.

3:33 p.m. A reckless driver was reported traveling south on Interstate 95.

6:32 p.m. A reckless driver was reported on Coosaw Scenic Drive.

8:55 p.m. Officers responded to 8225 E Main St, Walgreens, in reference to a subject trespassing. Officers arrived on scene and made contact with the subject, Catina Aiken, who was confirmed to have been trespassed from the location. Aiken was arrested at which time she made threats to harm police officers. Aiken was then transported and booked into the Jasper County Detention Center.

May 20

1:29 a.m. Officers received a report of a reckless driver on Grays Hwy.

5:13 a.m. Officers responded to 8250 E Main St, Enmarket, in reference to a black male who was knocking items off the shelf. The subject left prior to arrival of law enforcement.

9:14 a.m. A reckless driver was reported on Interstate 95 near the 18 mile marker north bound.

12:10 p.m. A reckless driver was reported on Grays Hwy.

12:11 p.m. Officers responded to 221 James L Taylor Dr, Quality Inn, in reference to having a subject placed on trespass notice from the location.

1:12 p.m. Officers responded to Interstate 95 near the 22 mile marker in reference to a motor vehicle collision.

2:04 p.m. Officers responded to Interstate 95 near the 22 mile marker in reference to a motor vehicle collision.

6:49 p.m. Officers responded to 10953 North Jacob Smart Blvd, Schooner's, in reference to (2) females on scene being disorderly. Officers made contact with the bartender who advised that the females, Terri King and Carolyn Stiers, were being loud and boisterous while using profanities. The bartender advised she asked the subjects to leave however they did not. Officers made contact with King and Stiers who declined a ride home and began to walk in the roadway. Officers determined that King and Stiers were intoxicated at which time they were arrested and booked into the Jasper County Detention Center for Public Disorderly Conduct.

May 19

7:43 a.m. Officers received a report of a reckless driver on Bees Creek Rd

9:20 a.m. Officers responded to Logan near Adams St in reference to a welfare check on a black female in the roadway.

11:03 a.m. A reckless driver was reported traveling on Old House Rd.

12:28 p.m. Officers responded to 73 S Green St, Family Dollar, in reference to a male shoplifting. Upon arrival officers made contact with the subject who was leaving the location. The subject, identified as Jessie Cleland, was found to have several arrest warrants. Cleland was arrested, transported, and booked into the Jasper County Detention Center. Cleland was served with arrest warrants for Burglary and Shoplifting. Cleland was also served with a new summons for the current shoplifting charge.

2:20 p.m. Officers responded to West Main St in reference to a motor vehicle collision.

6:01 p.m. Officers responded to a business on South Jacob Smart Blvd in reference to an activated alarm.

7:10 p.m. Officers were conducting patrol on Intestate 95 when they observed a Blue Chevy Traverse traveling north near the 22 mile marker. Officers observed the vehicle speeding and confirmed the speed to be 87 miles per hour in a 70mph zone. Officers conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle and made contact with the driver, Maria Fuentes-Estrada. Fuentes-Estrada advised she did not have a valid license. Fuentes-Estrada was arrested, transported, and booked into the Jasper County Detention Center was Speeding and No Driver's License.

11:33 p.m. Officers responded to a residence on Ward Ct in reference to a suspicious person in the area. Upon arrival officers observed a black male hiding in a bush near the residence. Officers made contact with the subject at which time he was detained. The subject, identified as Zacharia Pinckney, informed officers that he had a stolen firearm in his possesion. The firearm was confirmed to be stolen by the Jasper County Sheriff's Office. Pinckney also advised he did not possess a permit to carry a firearm. Pinckney was arrested, transported, and booked into the Jasper County Detention Center.

11:51 a.m. Officers responded to 11365 North Jacob Smart Blvd, Carolina Collision, in reference to a civil matter.

A trespass notice was confirmed at which time Gibson was arrested, transported, and booked into the Jasper County Detention Center for trespassing after notice.

9:19 a.m. Officers responded to 11059 North Jacob Smart Blvd, Carquest, in reference to a burglary. Officers learned that individual(s) unknown did take several freon gas tanks from the business. The case is under investigation.

12:07 p.m. Officers responded to a residence on Owens St in reference to disagreement in regards to a child custody dispute.

12:35 p.m. Officers responded to a residence on Three Tee Circle in regards to an activated alarm.

2:38 p.m. Officers responded to Carolina Collision located at 11365 North Jacob Smart Blvd in regards to damage sustained to a vehicle parked in the parking lot.

6:10 p.m. Officers responded to a residence on Hagin Dr in regards to building equipment missing from the location.

7:34 p.m. Officers responded to 10246 S Jacob Smart Blvd, Ridgeland Coin Laundry, in regards to a suspicious vehicle in the parking lot.

7:42 p.m. Officers responded to a business on South Jacob Smart Blvd in regards to an activated commercial alarm.

11:41 p.m. Officers responded to a residence on Shadetree St in regards to the caller hearing several people in the roadway arguing. The subjects departed prior to arrival of law enforcement.

5:43 p.m. Officers responded to a residence on Sailfish Cr in reference to an assault.

6:06 p.m. Officers responded to Heron Crossing Apartments in reference to subjects loitering on the premises.

7:05 p.m. Officers responded to a business on S Jacob Smart Blvd in reference to an alarm.

7:28 p.m. Officers responded to 107 1st Ave, Baytree Apts, in reference to a breach of trust.

8:54 p.m. Officers responded to a residence on Queens Way in reference to a complaint of harassment.

May 4

8:53 a.m. Officers responded to a residence on Queens Way in reference to an activated alarm.

11:39 a.m. Officers responded to a motor vehicle collision on Interstate 95 near the 22 mile marker north bound.

9:10 p.m. Officers responded to 8234 East Main St, Subway, in reference to a suspicious person.

9:58 p.m. Officers responded to 80 Blue Heron Dr, BP, in reference to a physical altercation. Upon arrival it was learned that a male subject was standing by an ATM consuming a beer. The clerk asked the subject to leave the store at which time he approached the clerk and began striking her in the face with a closed fist. The clerk was able to push the subject away and he was ultimately restrained by a good samaritan. Law enforcement arrived on scene and detained the subject. After obtaining all information in the case and confirming with witnesses the subject, Dayne Hinton, was arrested, transported, and booked into the Jasper County Detention Center.

5:19 p.m. Officers responded to a residential facility on Adams St in reference to a missing person. Officers were informed that a resident of the facility left the location of her own will without permission. The female, identified as Brionna McTeer, is described as a 24 year old black female who wearing a plaid dress, colorful crocs shoes and had her hair in a pony tail. She is 5'11 and weighs 300 pounds. She was entered to N.C.I.C as missing person however it is believed she obtained a ride from a friend. The matter is currently being investigated.

7:33 p.m. Officers responded to Old House Rd near Live Oak Farm Rd in reference to a vehicle fire.

10:17 p.m. Officers responded to South Jacob Smart Blvd in reference to an activated commmerical alarm.

11:55 p.m. Officers were patrolling Interstate 95 when they observed a hispanic male riding a bicycle near the 22 mile marker south. Officers made contact with the subject, identified as Emmanuel Mendoza-Valdivia, who was had a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage emitting from his breath and person. He had glossy bloodshot eyes and slurred speech. Officers determined the subject to be intoxicated at which time he was arrested, transported, and booked into the Jasper County Detention Center.
