10:03 p.m. Officers responded to 511 James L Taylor Dr, Baymont Inn, in reference to an attempted robbery. Officers arrived on scene and learned the subject, Matthew Carter, had attempted rob several subjects at gun point. Carter was detained by the would be victims until law enforcement arrived on scene. Carter was arrested, transported, and booked into the Jasper County Detention Center.

August 19

August 18

8:21 a.m. Officers responded to 11433 N Jacob Smart Blvd, Plantation Inn, in reference to a stolen vehicle. The victim advised that an acquaintance had taken her vehicle and left the scene. The vehicle was stopped shortly after on East Main St. Contact was made with the offender, Eduardo Arroyo, who was subsequently arrest, transported, and booked into the Jasper County Detention Center.

4:39 p.m. Officers responded to the area of Shadetree St in reference to a suspicious person in the area.

9:08 a.m. Officers responded to 401 Sycamore Dr, Boat N RV, in reference to a stolen vehicle tag.

1:05 p.m. Officers responded to a residence on McCormack Ave in reference to an alarm.

2:22 p.m. Officers responded to a residence on Shadetree St in reference to a civil complaint.

7:56 p.m. Officers responded to 8250 E Main St, Enmarket, in reference to a shoplifting. Upon arrival officers were informed that a black female entered the store and took $140.00 in merchandise to the register. The clerk rang the items up and placed them in the bags however the suspect took the bags and then left the location without rendering payment for the items. Officers made contact with the suspect a short time later at the Days Inn after being informed that she entered a room that did not belong to her. Officers did observed the female, identified as Shareema Behlin, with the items from Enmarket. Employees of the Days Inn then informed officers that the room was actually rented to another individual who left the door cracked and that's how Behlin was able to gain access to the room. Behlin was subsequently arrested, transported, and booked into the Jasper County Detention Center for shoplifting and trespassing.

2:30 a.m. Officers responded to Azalea Ave near Logan St in reference to a motor vehicle collision.

11:54 a.m. Officers responded to 10847 North Jacob Smart Blvd, Piggly Wiggly, in reference to a motor vehicle collision.

12:26 p.m. Officers responded to 119 Industrial Park Rd, Grayco, in reference to a theft report.

12:32 p.m. Officers responded to 221 James L Taylor, Quality Inn, in reference to a civil complaint.

5:22 p.m. Officers responded to 8216 E Main St, Days Inn, in reference to a subject trespassing.

6:10 p.m. Officers were in the area of 10728 S Jacob Smart Blvd, Shortstop BP, when they observed two subject fighting in the parking lot. Officers observed one subject in the parking lot with a handgun that appeared to discharge the weapon into the air. Officers made contact with the subject, identified as Nykell Dixon, and after investigating the incident he was placed under arrest. Dixon was transported and booked into the Jasper County Detention Center for Unlawful carrying of a pistol, pointing and presenting a firearm, discharging a firearm in city limits, and simple possession of marijuana.

10:32 p.m. Officers responded to a business on E Main St in reference to an alarm.

August 9

7:22 a.m. Officers responded to Interstate 95 near the 18 mile marker south bound in reference to a motor vehicle collision.

9:51 a.m. Officers responded to Interstate 95 near the 21 mile marker north bound in reference to assisting a disabled motorist

12:58 p.m. Officers responded to Getsinger St in reference to conducting a welfare check.

1:07 p.m. Officers responded to a residence on Captain Bill Road in reference to a verbal argument

2:05 p.m. Officers responded to North Jacob Smart Blvd at Main St(Langford Park) in reference to a subject sleeping in the park. Officers made contact with the subject, Darrell Grayson, who had previously been trespassed from the location. Grayson was subsequently arrested, transported, and booked into the Jasper County Detention Center for Trespassing after notice.

2:40 p.m. Officers responded to 107 1st Avenue, Amoco, in reference to a subject loitering in the area.

9:27 p.m. Officers responded to Interstate 95 near the 21 mile marker south bound in reference to a vehicle fire.

August 8

9:36 a.m. Officers responded to 221 James L Taylor Dr, Quality Inn, in reference to a civil complaint

10:27 a.m. Officers observed a subject in the parking lot of BP located at 80 Blue Heron Dr who officers believed had existing arrest warrants. The warrants were confirmed and contact was then made with the subject, Daniel Bostic, who was advised he was under arrest. Bostic was transported and booked into the Jasper County Detention Center where was served (9) arrest warrants for larceny from vehicle charges.

1:32 p.m. Officers responded to a business on Live Oak Dr in reference to a larceny.

5:06 p.m. Officers responded to 11965 North Jacob Smart Blvd, Sunoco, in reference to a larceny.

August 5

12:28 p.m. Officers were conducting patrol when they observed a gray Nissan pickup truck traveling north on US17 with defective brake lights. Officers conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle and made contact with the driver, Udiel Najera. It was learned that Najera did not possess a valid driver's license. Najera was subsequently arrested, transported, and booked into the Jasper County Detention Center.

8:05 a.m. Officers responded to a residence on Dolphin Dr in reference to a larceny.

11:11 a.m. A reckless driver was reported traveling north on Interstate 95

3:39 p.m. Officers observed a vehicle traveling north on US17 at a high rate of speed. The vehicle was confirmed to be speeding and a traffic stop was conducted. Officers made contact with the driver, Elmer Madrid Claros, who did not possess a valid driver's license. Claros was arrested, transported, and booked into the Jasper County Detention Center.

7:32 a.m. Officers responded to 8250 E Main St, Enmarket, in reference to a shoplifting. Officers were advised that a male subject was observed concealing several items from the store and exiting without rendering payment. Officers were able to located the subject in the parking lot and he still had the items in his possession. The subect, identified as Alphonso Young(Ocala, FL) was arrested transported and booked into the Jasper County Detention Center.

9:46 p.m. Officers observed a Gray Chevy Traverse traveling north on US17 with defective headlights. Officers initiated a traffic stop and made contact with the driver, Edni Morales who did not possess a valid driver's license. Maralos was arrested, transported, and booked into the Jasper County Detention Center.
