8:27 a.m. Officers, with the assistance of SLED and the Jasper County Sheriff's Office, arrested Albert Gerald Heyward. Heyward was wanted for a shooting incident that occurred in Carters Mill Estates. Heyward was charged with attempted murder.

8:32 a.m. Officers responded to Day's Inn, 8216 East Main Street, for a report of a suspicious incident.

1:48 p.m. A white Toyota Tacoma was reported as driving recklessly at the 28 mile marker south bound on I-95.

5:15 p.m. Officers responded to East Main Street for a vehicle collision involving two vehicles. No injuries were reported.

7:52 p.m. A white semi was reported as driving recklessly at the 14 mile marker north bound on I-95.

12:06 a.m. Officers responded to the Enmarket Station, 8250 East Main Street, for a report of a subject harassing customers.

3:29 a.m. Officers responded to Dolphin Drive for a report of a suspicious male subject in the roadway.

4:12 a.m. A black VW Beetle was reported as driving recklessly at the 14 mile marker north bound on I-95.

5:11 p.m. Officers responded to the intersection of Grays Highway and Russell Street for a motorist assist.

12:43 a.m. Officers responded to Smith's Crossing for a vehicle collision involving one vehicle. No injuries were reported.

5:08 p.m. A silver Dodge was reported as driving recklessly at the 14 mile marker north bound on I-95.

5:17 p.m. Officers responded to Jasper County Maintenance, 623 Live Oak Drive, for a report of juveniles entering the property and causing damage to several vehicles. The juveniles were apprehended and petitions were filed with DJJ.

9:50 p.m. Officers responded to Green Street for a report of people loitering.

October 24

12:45 a.m. Officers responded to Sailfish Circle for a domestic dispute.

1:11 a.m. Officers responded to Bay Tree Apartments, 107 1st Avenue, for a report of loud noises in the parking lot.

5:36 a.m. A red Ford F-150 was reported as driving recklessly on East Main Street.

11:45 a.m. Officers responded to East Main Street for a report of people taking up campaign signs.

12:06 p.m. A blue Buick was reported as driving recklessly on Old House Road.

Officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle on Main Street. A K-9 search of the vehicle was conducted and after receiving a positive alert, officers conducted a search of the vehicle. A quantity of cocaine base was discovered and David Stanley Jowanna was arrested. Jowanna was arrested for possession of cocaine and transported to the Jasper County Detention Center.

4:26 p.m. Officers responded to Kingdom Touch Ministries, 6714 Tillman Road, for an activated alarm.

7:35 p.m. Officers responded to Sycamore Drive for a report of a male subject walking in the roadway.

9:05 p.m. Officers responded to Ike Street for a report of loud music.

10:38 p.m. Officers responded to the Oyo Hotel, 8260 East Main Street, for an assault and battery. The victim did not wish to file charges.
