12:07 a.m. Officers responded to a residence on Grays Highway for a report of a missing person. A 74 year old male left the residence walking and could not be located by other household members. The subject was located at 5:25 a.m. on Grays Highway near Palmetto Electric. The subject was transported to Coastal Carolina Medical Center for evaluation.

12:42 a.m. Officers responded to the Sunoco Station, 11965 North Jacob Smart Boulevard, for an activated alarm.

1:46 a.m. A black semi pulling a silver trailer was reported as driving recklessly at the 33 mile marker south bound on I-95.

3:15 a.m. Officers responded to Star Point BP, 11122 North Jacob Smart Boulevard, for an activated alarm.

5:49 a.m. Officers responded to the Coin Laundry, 10246 South Jacob Smart Boulevard, for a report of a suspicious person.

10:15 a.m. Officers discovered a utility trailer in the woods next to the intersection of 3rd Avenue and Green Street. The trailer had a riding mower on it and it was later retrieved by the rightful owner.

10:46 a.m. Officers responded to a residence on West Adams Street for a report of chickens in the yard.

11:17 a.m. Officers responded to Turpin Park, 901 North Logan Street, for a report of a suspicious vehicle.

1:05 p.m. Officers responded to Heron Crossing Apartments, 72 Heron Crossing Road, for a report of a male subject trespassing.

4:07 p.m. Officers responded to the Ridgeland School, 250 Jaguar Trail, for a vehicle collision involving two vehicles. No injuries were reported.

5:10 p.m. Officers responded to Coosaw Scenic Drive for a motorist assist.

5:35 p.m. Officers responded to the Sunoco Station, 11965 North Jacob Smart Boulevard, for a report of a shoplifting. An unknown white male was observed on video taking a bottle of liquor and placing it in his pants before exiting the business. The incident remains under further investigation.

12:31 p.m. Officers responded to Woods Court to take a male subject to Coastal Carolina Medical Center in reference to a pick up order from Probate Court. The male was taken to Coastal Carolina Medical Center for evaluation.

9:38 p.m. Officers met with a complainant at the Ridgeland Police Department in reference to threats she was receiving by text messages from her ex-boyfriend in Maryland.

12:05 p.m. Officers responded to the 20 mile marker south bound on I-95 for a vehicle collision involving one vehicle. No injuries were reported.

1:16 p.m. Officers responded to Kingdom Touch, 6714 Tillman Road, for an activated alarm.

4:31 p.m. Officers responded to the 18 mile marker north bound on I-95 for a motorist assist.

5:20 p.m. Officers responded to a residence on Woodlawn Street for a domestic dispute between boyfriend and girlfriend.

9:44 p.m. Officers responded to Ridgeland Weekly Rentals, 67 Woodlawn Street, for a domestic dispute between a male and female. Alexis Marie Kelsor was ultimately arrested for disorderly conduct. Kelsor was transported to the Jasper County Detention Center.

11:09 p.m. Officers responded to a residence on North Green Street for an argument between a mother and her adult son.

9:25 a.m. Officers met with a complainant at the Ridgeland Police Department in reference to items being stolen from his carport at his residence on Bailey Lane.

10:20 a.m. Officers met with a complainant at Piggly Wiggly in reference to an assault that occurred the previous day.

12:03 p.m. Officers responded to Short Stop BP, 10728 South Jacob Smart Boulevard, for a report of people loitering in the parking lot.

12:16 p.m. Officers responded to a residence on Azalea Avenue for an animal complaint.

5:11 p.m. A blue semi was reported as driving recklessly at the 16 mile marker north bound on I-95.

5:29 p.m. A silver Ford Escape was reported as driving recklessly on Bees Creek Road.

10:10 p.m. A silver Nissan Frontier was reported as driving recklessly at the 31 mile marker south bound on I-95. At 10:22 p.m. officers observed the vehicle on I-95 and conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle for a lane violation. The driver, James Kenneth Mack, was ultimately arrested for driving under the influence and open container by the South Carolina Highway Patrol.

11:15 p.m. A red Nissan Pathfinder was reported as driving recklessly on Old House Road.

8:25 a.m. Officers responded to Bennett Law Firm, 1130 Third Avenue, where a male subject was placed on trespass notice at the request of the property owner.

9:17 a.m. Officers responded to the BP Station, 80 Blue Heron Drive, for a report of a male attempting to cash a stolen lottery ticket.

1:43 p.m. Officers responded to the parking lot of Dollar General, 8123 East Main Street, for a vehicle collision involving two vehicles. No injuries were reported.

1:46 p.m. Officers met with a complainant at the Ridgeland Police Department in reference to harassment that occurred at the Star Pont BP Station, 11122 North Jacob Smart Boulevard.

12:16 a.m. A grey Pontiac Grand Am was reported as driving recklessly on North Jacob Smart Boulevard.

6:21 a.m. Officers met with Derrick Lamont Blackshear at the Ridgeland Police Department in reference to him turning himself in on two warrants. Blackshear was charged with kidnapping and assault and battery by mob, 3rd degree from an incident that occurred on May 12, 2018. Blackshear was transported to the Jasper County Detention Center.

6:54 a.m. Officers responded to a residence on Colony Drive in reference to a vehicle being entered by an unknown subject. No items were reported as stolen.

7:32 a.m. Officers responded to a residence on Honeycomb Lane in reference to a vehicle being entered by an unknown subject. No items were reported as stolen.

8:19 a.m. Officers responded to a residence on North Logan Street in reference to a domestic dispute between a husband and wife.

9:09 a.m. Officers assisted an officer with the South Carolina Department of Natural Resources at Burger King, 8257 East Main Street, in reference to a traffic stop made by SCDNR.

12:57 p.m. Officers met with Jadon Darryl Bowers at the Ridgeland Police Department in reference to him turning himself in on two warrants. Bowers was charged with kidnapping and assault and battery, 3rd degree from an incident that occurred on May 12, 2018. Bowers was transported to the Jasper County Detention Center.

3:05 p.m. Officers responded to Short Stop BP, 10728 South Jacob Smart Boulevard, and met with a female complainant in reference to her being harassed by another female.

4:54 p.m. Officers responded to Logan Lane Apartments, 544 South Logan Street, in reference to a report of loud music in the parking lot.

7:54 p.m. Officers responded to a vehicle collision at the 18 mile marker south bound on I-95 involving a single vehicle. No injuries were reported.

7:53 p.m. Officers responded to Shade Tree Street for a report of a group of males fighting in the roadway.

8:32 p.m. Officers responded to the Piggly Wiggly, 10847 North Jacob Smart Boulevard, for a report of a stolen wallet.

8:41 p.m. Officers responded to a residence on Bees Creek Road in reference to a female complainant being harassed by a female subject.

9:27 p.m. Officers assisted the South Carolina Highway Patrol with the traffic light at Main Street and Jacob Smart Boulevard.

9:34 p.m. Officers responded to the Sunoco Station, 11965 North Jacob Smart Boulevard, for an activated alarm.

May 22

7:18 a.m. Officers responded to the intersection of Woodlawn Street and South Jacob Smart Boulevard for a report of a tree down near the roadway.

11:34 a.m. Officers responded to a residence on North Jacob Smart Boulevard for an activated alarm.

12:27 p.m. Officers met with complainants at the Ridgeland Police Department in reference to criminal sexual conduct involving a minor. Based upon victim statements and an investigation, a warrant was issued for James Lee Mitchell, of Ridgeland, charging him with criminal sexual conduct with a minor, 3rd degree. Mitchell was currently at the Jasper County Detention Center on other charges. Officers responded to the detention center and Mitchell was served with the new warrant.

1:54 p.m. Officers traveled to the Ridgeland School and picked up a male juvenile on a Pick-Up Order from the South Carolina Department of Juvenile Justice. The juvenile was transported to a detention facility in Columbia. The juvenile was charged with kidnapping and assault and battery by mob, 3rd degree.

3:24 p.m. Officers responded to the parking lot of Harvey's, 8205 East Main Street, for a vehicle collision involving two vehicles. No injuries were reported.

6:19 p.m. Officers responded to South State Bank, 10671 South Jacob Smart Boulevard, for an activated alarm.

7:57 p.m. Officers responded to the intersection of Smith's Crossing and South Jacob Smart Boulevard for a motorist assist.

9:05 p.m. Officers responded to Smith's Crossing for a report of vehicles racing on the roadway.

2:10 a.m. Officers assisted the Jasper County Sheriff's Office with a suspicious person at a residence on Ellis Hodges Road.

6:15 a.m. Officers responded to the 21 mile marker north bound on I-95 for a semi truck fire.

7:50 a.m. Officers responded to a residence on McTeer Avenue for an activated alarm.

8:43 a.m. Officers responded to the 23 mile marker south bound on I-95 for a report of debris in the roadway.

9:23 a.m. Two SCDOT trucks were reported as driving slowly side by side at the 32 mile marker south bound on I-95 and not letting other vehicles pass them.

12:39 p.m. Officers responded to Dairy Queen, 80 Jason L. Taylor Drive, for a report of found property. The rightful owner of the property has been contacted and advised of how to retrieve their property.

4:48 p.m. Officers responded to the Juanita White Crosswalk on I-95 for a report of a male and female fighting.

3:41 a.m. Officers responded to the 22 mile marker south bound for a motorist assist.

6:35 a.m. Offices responded to a residence on Grays Highway for an activated alarm.

7:57 a.m. Officers responded to Bay Tree Apartments, 107 1st Avenue, for a report of property damage.

9:57 a.m. Officers responded to Bee's Creek Road for a report of a male subject who had been struck by a vehicle. Responding officers located a deceased male next to the roadway. This incident remains under further investigation.

1:51 p.m. Officers responded to the intersection of Main Street and Railroad Avenue for a report of a suspicious male.

3:05 p.m. A grey Honda Accord was reported as driving recklessly at the 6 mile marker north bound on I-95.

May 19

2:27 a.m. Officers responded to Carolina Lodge, 8260 East Main Street, for a report of suspicious activity.

8:35 a.m. Officers responded to Nimmer Turf Road for an activated alarm.

12:05 p.m. Officers responded to the 22 mile marker south bound on I-95 for a report of debris in the roadway.

12:47 p.m. Officers responded to Coosaw Scenic Drive for a tree in the roadway.

1:40 p.m. Officers met with a female juvenile complainant and her parents in reference to criminal sexual conduct. The officers were able to determine a suspect in the incident and a warrant was obtained for James Lee Mitchell, charging him with criminal sexual conduct with a minor, 3rd degree. Mitchell turned himself into officers at 11:53 p.m. and he was transported to the Jasper County Detention Center.

6:31 p.m. Officers responded to Beaufort County Detention Center to take custody of Jerricka Jennise Efai Lights. Lights had an outstanding arrest warrant for malicious injury to personal property stemming from an incident on April 8, 2017.

6:49 p.m. Officers responded to the 23 mile marker south bound on I-95 for a vehicle collision involving two vehicles. No injuries were reported.

7:55 p.m. Officers met a complainant who stated her pocket book was taken from her vehicle while at the Ridgeland Coin Laundry. The complainant also stated that the pocket book could have been taken from her vehicle while she was at Piggly Wiggly.

10:14 p.m. A black truck was reported as driving recklessly at the 18 mile marker north bound on I-95.

11:50 p.m. Officers responded to the Sunoco Station, 11965 North Jacob Smart Boulevard, for an activated alarm.

11:53 p.m. Officers met with James Lee Mitchell at the office as he was turning himself in to face charges of criminal sexual conduct with a minor, 3rd degree. Mitchell was arrested and transported to the Jasper County Detention Center.

May 18

6:01 a.m. A dark Chevrolet car was reported as driving recklessly at the 23 mile marker south bound on I-95.

10:40 a.m. Officers met with a complainant on Old House Road who stated that her vehicle broke down and she left it two days earlier. When she returned to get her vehicle, it was gone.

1:00 p.m. Officers responded to a residence on East Woodlawn Street to assist EMS.

2:40 p.m. Officers responded to Wood Ridge Apartments, 414 South Logan Street, for a report of harassment involving two females.

5:58 p.m. A black car was reported as driving recklessly on Nuna Rock Road.

6:27 p.m. Officers responded to Sycamore Drive and met with two motorists. One motorist stated that rocks flew from the tires of the vehicle in front of her vehicle and caused damage to the windshield of her vehicle.

7:50 p.m. Officers responded to South State Bank, 10671 South Jacob Smart Boulevard, for an activated alarm.

7:52 p.m. Officers responded to the Gulf Station, 8250 East Main Street, for a motorist assist.

9:47 p.m. Officers responded to a residence on North Green Street for a report of property damage to a vehicle.

10:47 p.m. A brown Chevrolet SUV was reported as driving recklessly on Grays Highway.

May 17

12:14 a.m. Officers responded to the Sunoco Gas Station, 11965 North Jacob Smart Boulevard, for an activated alarm.

6:09 a.m. Officers responded to Wendy's, 8480 Grahamville Road, for an activated alarm.

8:34 a.m. Officers responded to Old House Road to assist with a road closure while Hargray crews installed new lines.

2:01 p.m. Officers responded to Bay Tree Apartments for a report of trespassing. When officers arrived they located Clinton Green on the property. Green was previously served with a trespass notice and was advised not to return to the property. Green was also visibly impaired from alcohol. He was arrested for trespassing after notice and public disorderly conduct and transported to the Jasper County Detention Center.

3:28 p.m. Officers responded to the intersection of Rice Shire Road and Coosaw Scenic Drive for a vehicle collision involving two vehicles. One minor injury was reported.

3:58 p.m. Officers responded to the 23 mile marker north bound on I-95 for a motorist assist.

6:28 p.m. A blue semi pulling a silver trailer was reported as driving recklessly at the 21 mile marker north bound on I-95.

6:58 p.m. Officers responded to Captain Bill Road for a report of a cat in the roadway.

10:15 p.m. Officers responded to Advance Auto Parts, 10424 South Jacob Smart Boulevard, for an activated alarm.

May 16

7:49 a.m. Officers responded to Devon Wood Apartments, 137 Captain Bill Road, to assist EMS.

10:55 a.m. Officers met with a town employee who was given a set of keys that was discovered by a citizen. The keys were located on 3rd Avenue.

4:49 p.m. The Jasper County Sheriff's Office recovered a vehicle that was listed as stolen by the Ridgeland Police Department. The vehicle, a 1996 green Honda Accord, was stolen from McDonald's parking lot on May 9, 2018. A male subject and a female subject were in the vehicle and they were arrested by the Jasper County Sheriff's Office. The vehicle was returned to the rightful owner.

5:13 p.m. Officers responded to the intersection of Old House Road and Wellington Drive for a report of a power line in the roadway.

6:49 p.m. Officers responded to the Palms, 10735 South Jacob Smart Boulevard, for a report of people loitering in the parking lot.

9:26 p.m. A white work truck was reported as driving recklessly at the 30 mile marker south bound on I-95.

10:02 p.m. Officers responded to the Holy Temple Church of Deliverance, 1182 East Adams Street, for a report of property damage. A rear door was found to have been damaged by an unknown person.

10:15 p.m. A report of loud noises was reported in the parking lot of Family Dollar, 73 South Green Street.

10:37 p.m. Officers responded to the area of Azalea Drive for a report of loud noises.

10:19 a.m. Officers responded to Star Point BP Station, 11122 North Jacob Smart Boulevard, for a report of a log truck hitting a pole in front of the business.

10:48 a.m. Officers responded to the 18 mile marker south bound on I-95 for a vehicle collision involving one vehicle. No injuries were reported.

2:24 p.m. Officers responded to the 18 mile marker north bound on I-95 for a motorist assist.

2:26 p.m. A white Mercedes was reported as driving recklessly at the 22 mile marker south bound on I-95.

2:56 p.m. Officers met with a representative of a leasing company in reference to a stolen ice maker from the Econo Lodge, 511 James L. Taylor Drive. The representative visited the property and was unable to locate the ice maker or the business owner.

5:47 p.m. Officers responded to the Plantation Inn, 11433 North Jacob Smart Boulevard, for a report of two subjects trespassing on the property.

10:44 p.m. A large group of vehicles was reported as driving recklessly at the 12 mile marker north bound on I-95.

May 14

2:37 a.m. A black Chevrolet truck was reported as driving recklessly at the 28 mile marker south bound on I-95.

7:27 a.m. Officers responded to Simply Carolina Kitchen and Bath, 10668 South Jacob Smart Boulevard, for an activated alarm.

9:26 a.m. Officers responded to Short Stop BP, 10728 South Jacob Smart Boulevard, for a dump truck that was broken down in a lane of travel.

12:57 p.m. Officers responded to the intersection of Grays Highway and Weathersbee Street for a vehicle collision involving two vehicles. No injuries were reported.

5:06 p.m. A white Ford truck and a silver Honda Accord were reported as driving recklessly at the 15 mile marker north bound on I-95.

7:17 p.m. Officers responded to West Adams Street for a report of a suspicious male riding a bicycle and carrying another bicycle.

10:19 p.m. Officers responded to the Gulf Station, 8250 East Main Street, for a disturbance between a male and female that occurred at a residence on Wilson Street.

10:38 p.m. Officers responded to Ken's Tires, 10464 South Jacob Smart Boulevard, for a report of two suspicious males on the property.

May 13

12:51 a.m. A red four door Cadillac was reported as driving recklessly on North Jacob Smart Boulevard.

4:11 a.m. Officers stopped a 2001 Ford at the 24 mile marker north bound on I-95 for a speeding violation. When officers approached the vehicle, the driver was observed concealing a handgun. The driver was removed from the vehicle and a handgun along with additional magazines containing ammunition was located within reach of the driver. An open bottle of liquor was also found in the vehicle. The driver, Jamel N. Smith, was arrested for unlawful carry of a handgun and open container of liquor. Smith was transported to the Jasper County Detention Center. Smith's vehicle was towed by a wrecker from rotation to their facility.

5:19 a.m. Officers observed a black Dodge Charger on East Main Street that struck a curb and did not have rear lights on it. When officers attempted to perform a traffic stop, the vehicle failed to stop immediately and went through numerous parking lots of closed businesses. The black Dodge Charger stopped at the end of James L. Taylor Drive and the driver, Tremaine Lamar Stevenson, was apprehended. Stevenson was arrested for improper lights, expired vehicle license, driving under suspension 1st offense and reckless driving. Stevenson was transported to the Jasper County Detention Center. A wrecker from rotation towed the vehicle to their facility.

9:34 a.m. Officers responded to Promise Way for a report of a suspicious person.

1:08 p.m. Officers observed a male subject walking in I-95 near the 23 mile marker south bound. He was provided with assistance to get off the interstate.

1:20 p.m. A black four door Buick was reported as driving recklessly on North Jacob Smart Boulevard.

2:34 p.m. Officers responded to Advance Auto, 10424 South Jacob Smart Boulevard, for a report of a vehicle fire.

6:19 p.m. Officers responded to Brandon Cove for a report of children riding ATV's on the roadway.

7:03 p.m. Officers responded to South State Bank, 10671 South Jacob Smart Boulevard, for an activated alarm.

8:17 p.m. Officers responded to Plantation Inn, 11433 North Jacob Smart Boulevard, to meet with the manager who requested that two individuals be placed on trespass notice. The manger requested that Tammy Lafler and Joshua Aryes be placed on trespass notice.

8:35 p.m. A red Ford truck pulling a trailer was reported as driving recklessly on Tillman Road.

May 12

3:23 a.m. Officers responded to a residence on Colony Drive for a report of a suspicious person. When officers arrived at the residence, they noted that a vehicle in the driveway had a freshly damaged window. The homeowner reported that an undetermined amount of cash was stolen from the vehicle. The incident remains under investigation.

10:56 a.m. A black Cadillac was reported as driving recklessly at the 14 mile marker north bound on I-95.

12:06 p.m. Officers responded to the exit 18 area of Bees Creek Road for a report of a tree in the roadway.

2:35 p.m. Officers responded to Carter's Mill Estates for a report of children riding small motorcycles on the roadways.

2:59 p.m. Officers responded to South Logan Street for a report of smoke coming from a residence.

7:27 p.m. Officers responded to Travel Lodge, 8216 East Main Street, for a report of an intoxicated person on the property causing problems with tenants.

9:27 p.m. Officers responded to the area of Bees Creek Road and Old House Road for a report of a female running in the roadway.

9:54 p.m. Officers assisted the South Carolina Highway Patrol on a traffic stop at the 21 mile marker south bound on I-95.

10:49 p.m. A blue truck was reported as driving recklessly at the 21 mile marker south bound on I-95.

May 11

12:07 a.m. Officers responded to Ole' Bakery, 7785 West Main Street, for an activated alarm.

12:22 a.m. Officers observed Henry Spann on East Main Street. Spann had an arrest warrant that was issued for him stemming from an incident on May 6, 2018. Spann was arrested and transported to Jasper County Detention Center.

12:24 a.m. Officers responded to the 22 mile marker south bound on I-95 for a motorist assist.

2:27 a.m. Officers responded to the area of North Green Street for a report of a suspicious person.

6:36 a.m. Officers responded to 119 East Industrial Park Road for an activated alarm.

8:55 a.m. A traffic stop was made on a Toyota Corolla on South Jacob Smart Boulevard for a vehicle license violation. Further investigation revealed that the vehicle did not have valid insurance. The vehicle was towed by a wrecker from rotation to their facility. The occupants of the vehicle had someone pick them up from the tow yard. The driver of the vehicle was charged with operating an uninsured vehicle, no registration and failure to surrender a suspended vehicle license.

2:34 p.m. Officers responded to South Jacob Smart Boulevard for a vehicle collision involving two vehicles. No injuries were reported.

4:58 p.m. Officers responded to the 22 mile marker north bound on I-95 for a vehicle collision involving two vehicles. No injuries were reported.

6:27 p.m. Officers met with two complainants who stated that as they walked in Carter's Mill Estates, they were forced into a vehicle and carried to another location. Once at that location, the two complainants were physically assaulted before they were able to escape. The incident is under further investigation.

7:25 p.m. Officers responded to a residence on Shade Tree Street for a reported domestic dispute.

10:48 p.m. Officers responded to the Gulf Station, 8250 East Main Street, for a disturbance. Responding officers learned that Henry Spann was on the property and was causing problems with customers. Spann was placed on trespass notice at the request of the business.

May 10

4:06 a.m. Officers assisted the Jasper County Sheriff's Office with a reported larceny on Chinaberry Drive.

8:37 a.m. Officers responded to a residence on Oak Ridge North for a report of a possible fraud. A female complainant stated that a neighbor was using her name to purchase items from an online business.

12:21 p.m. Officers responded to a residence on Grays Highway for a report of threats being made by a male subject as he left the property.

12:33 p.m. Officers searched area motels for a female that has been reported as missing from Hardeeville.

1:45 p.m. Officers responded to a vacant residence on Wise Street for a report of a suspicious male walking around the yard.

4:50 p.m. Officers responded to South Green Street for a report of a suspicious vehicle parked near the woods.

7:31 p.m. Officers responded to Bay Tree Apartments for a report of a suspicious person in the parking lot.

9:25 p.m. Officers responded to Fiddler's Seafood, 7738 West Main Street, for a report of a male that had been hanging around the business. The male was placed on trespass notice at the request of the business owner.

10:33 p.m. Officers responded to the exit 18 area on I-95 for a report of a suspicious person.

May 9

1:52 a.m. A silver Ford Focus was reported as driving recklessly at the 19 mile marker north bound on I-95.

5:45 a.m. Officers responded to a residence on 3rd Avenue for an activated alarm.

8:58 a.m. Officers responded to Piggly Wiggly, 10847 North Jacob Smart Boulevard, for a report of an intoxicated male subject on the property. Responding officers located Morales Agustin on the property and found him to be intoxicated. Agustin was arrested for disorderly conduct and transported to the Jasper County Detention Center.

11:12 a.m. Officers responded to Heron Crossing Apartments, 72 Heron Crossing Road, for a report of a male subject on the property who was not supposed to be there.

1:52 p.m. Officers met Ashley Rene Wright at the Ridgeland Police Department as she wished to turn herself in on an active arrest warrant. The active warrant was issued as a result of an incident at the Gulf Station on May 7, 2018. Wright was arrested for assault and battery 3rd degree and transported to the Jasper County Detention Center.

3:44 p.m. Officers responded to McDonald's, 8548 Grahamville Road, for a report of a stolen vehicle. Officers learned from the victim that a 1996 green Honda Accord was taken from the property. The vehicle was entered into NCIC as a stolen vehicle.

5:00 p.m. Officers responded to Plantation Inn, 11433 North Jacob Smart Boulevard, for a report of a male subject wishing to harm himself. The male subject was transported to Coastal Carolina Medical Center, 1000 Medical Center Drive, by EMS.

6:33 p.m. Officers responded to the Ridgeland Hardeeville Football Field, 456 Grays Highway, for a report of loud noises.

6:36 p.m. Officers responded to Coastal Carolina Medical Center, 1000 Medical Center Drive, and transported a male patient to a facility in Charleston for further mental evaluation.

7:20 p.m. Officers assisted the South Carolina Highway Patrol with a vehicle collision at the 26 mile marker north bound on I-95.

7:55 p.m. Officers responded to a residence on Brandon Cove for an activated alarm.

7:57 p.m. Officers responded to a residence on North Jacob Smart Boulevard for an activated alarm.

May 8

12:17 a.m. Officers responded to Pizza Hut, 10856 North Jacob Smart Boulevard, for a report of a suspicious person in the parking lot.

6:54 a.m. Officers responded to a residence on North Green Street for an activated alarm.

7:26 a.m. Officers responded to the roadway of South Jacob Smart Boulevard for a report of a semi truck and trailer being parked too closely to the roadway.

11:56 a.m. Officers spoke to a complainant from Hardeeville by telephone in reference to a stolen credit card being used in Ridgeland. The case is under further investigation.

12:49 p.m. Officers responded to Perry Street Storage for a report of a storage unit that had been broken into and several small items were reported as being stolen.

1:29 p.m. Officers responded to the Jasper County Court House, 265 Russell Street, for a report of a suspicious person.

2:19 p.m. Officers responded to Piggly Wiggly, 10847 North Jacob Smart Boulevard, for a report of a group of teenagers yelling at each other and wanting to start a fight. The group was gone when officers arrived.

2:20 p.m. Officers responded to the parking lot of Harvey's, 8205 East Main Street, for a vehicle collision involving two vehicles. No injuries were reported.

2:35 p.m. Officers met with a complainant at the office in reference to an assault that occurred at the Gulf Station on May 6th at 10:15 p.m. The suspect in the incident, Ashley Renee Wright, posted a video of the incident on her Face Book page and officers were able to view it. Officers were able to determine that Wright acted as a primary aggressor and a warrant affidavit has been issued seeking charges of assault and battery 3rd degree for Ashley Renee Wright.

2:56 p.m. Officers responded to Coastal Carolina Medical Center, 1000 Medical Center Drive, to transport a juvenile female to Charleston for further evaluation.

3:59 p.m. Officers responded to the 20 mile maker south bound on I-95 for a vehicle collision involving two vehicles. No injuries were reported.

4:39 p.m. Officers responded to a residence on South Green Street for a report of a larceny.

5:03 p.m. A silver Nissan Altima was reported as driving recklessly on Old House Road.

5:24 p.m. Officers responded to an area on Good Hope Planation for a report of a person trespassing. The person, Parker Stewart, of Savannah, Georgia, was located on the property and charged with trespassing.

5:46 p.m. Officers responded to Quality Inn, 221 James L. Taylor Drive, for a report of a suspicious person.

5:54 p.m. Officers responded to the area of the Plantation Inn, 11433 North Jacob Smart Boulevard, for a report of juveniles in the roadway.

8:10 p.m. Officers responded to Quality Inn, 221 James L. Taylor Drive, for a civil dispute concerning a room.

May 7

4:18 a.m. Officers responded to Bay Tree Apartments, 107 1st Avenue, for a report of loud noises in the parking lot.

5:57 a.m. A white van was reported as driving recklessly on North Jacob Smart Boulevard.

9:12 a.m. Officers responded to a residence on 1st Avenue for an activated alarm.

11:14 a.m. A red semi truck pulling a silver trailer was reported as driving recklessly at the 16 mile marker north bound on I-95.

3:37 p.m. Officers responded to the Siesta Motel, 10530 South Jacob Smart Boulevard, for a pick up order from the Probate Judge's Office. An adult female was taken to Coastal Carolina Medical Center, 1000 Medical Center Drive, for evaluation.

3:51 p.m. Officers responded to a residence on Newlin Drive for an argument between a male and a female.

4:25 p.m. Officers responded to Bay Tree Apartments, 107 1st Avenue, for a report of a male subject who was on the property after he was served with a trespass notice.

6:45 p.m. Officers responded to a residence on Colony Drive for a report of a 15 year old female that ran away from the residence. She later returned back to the residence.

6:46 p.m. Officers responded to Coastal Carolina Medical Center, 1000 Medical Center Drive, to transport a patient to a facility in Charleston for further mental evaluation.

10:15 p.m. Officers responded to the Gulf Station, 8250 East Main Street, for a report of people fighting at the fuel pumps. The group of people departed prior to the arrival of officers.

10:26 p.m. Officers responded to Coastal Carolina Medical Center, 1000 Medical Center Drive, to transport a juvenile female to a facility in Charleston for further mental evaluation.

May 6

2:52 a.m. Officers responded to a residence on East Adams Street for a welfare check.

8:26 a.m. Officers responded to Star Point, 11122 North Jacob Smart Boulevard, for an activated alarm.

8:46 a.m. Officers responded to a residence on West Main Street for an activated alarm.

10:28 Officers responded to the 18 mile marker south bound for a motorist assist.

10:58 a.m. Officers responded to Old House Road for a vehicle collision involving a single vehicle. No injuries were reported.

11:56 a.m. Officers responded to Ridgeland Baptist Church, 148 Grays Highway, for a report of a male subject trespassing.

12:15 p.m. Officers responded to Jasper County Communications Center, 1509 grays Highway, for a report of property damage to a vehicle.

1:23 p.m. Officers responded to a residence on South Green Street for a report of a male subject trespassing.

1:41 p.m. A red Toyota Camry and a red Chevrolet Corvette were reported as driving recklessly at the 22 mile marker north bound on I-95.

4:11 p.m. Officers responded to the 19 mile marker north bound on I-95 for a report of a two vehicle collision. The vehicles were not located by responding officers.

8:02 p.m. Officers responded to the 17 mile marker south bound on I-95 for a vehicle collision involving two passenger cars. No injuries were reported.

9:23 p.m. Officers responded to Pizza Hut, 10856 North Jacob Smart Boulevard, for a report of a male subject asking for money.

May 5

1:15 a.m. Officers responded to Burger King, 8257 East Main Street, for a report of a domestic dispute in the parking lot. Officers were able to determine that three people in a vehicle pulled in the parking lot after a disagreement. Officers detected the odor of marijuana and searched the vehicle based upon probable cause. Marijuana was discovered in the vehicle and Shaqaela Moton was charged with simple possession of marijuana. Moton was allowed to leave the scene after being advised of her court date.

2:01 a.m. Officers responded to the 19 mile marker south bound on I-95 for a motorist assist.

9:21 a.m. Officers responded to The Morris Center, 10782 South Jacob Smart Boulevard, for an activated alarm.

10:35 a.m. Officers responded to Pam's Barber Shop, 716 West Adams Street, for a suspicious vehicle in the parking lot. The vehicle was still running and locked. Officers were able to determine that the owner accidentally locked the keys in the car.

11:54 a.m. Officers responded to the Quality Inn, 221 James L. Taylor Drive, for a report of two suspicious people on the property.

1:59 a.m. A green semi truck pulling a silver trailer was reported as driving recklessly at the 14 mile marker north bound on I-95.

2:16 p.m. Officers responded to an assisted living residence on 1st Avenue for a report of a client not wanting to get into a vehicle that needed to be taken for medical assistance at another facility.

3:20 p.m. Officers responded to Family Dollar, 73 South Green Street, for a report of a vehicle that parked in a handicap parking spot that should not have parked in that spot.

4:51 p.m. Officers responded to the Quality Inn, 221 James L. Taylor Drive, for a report of a suspicious vehicle.

7:08 p.m. A blue semi truck pulling a silver trailer was reported as driving recklessly at the 8 mile marker north bound on I-95.

7:30 p.m. Officers removed debris from the interstate at the 21 mile marker south bound.

7:39 p.m. Officers responded to the parking lot of Cash Advance, 8120 East Main Street, for a report of a male wanting to harm himself. The male was transported to Coastal Carolina Medical Center for evaluation.

8:19 p.m. Officers responded to Regions Bank, 11004 North Jacob Smart Boulevard, for a report that a customer's debit card was not returned to him while at the ATM.

9:16 p.m. Officers responded to Ridgeland Correctional Institution, 5 Correctional Drive, for a report of a suspicious vehicle.

May 4

2:13 a.m. Officers responded to Waffle House, 8185 East Main Street, for a disturbance between a male and a female. The female subject, Jasmine Craig, was arrested for being intoxicated in public Craig was transported to Jasper County Detention Center.

4:58 a.m. Officers responded to the 22 mile marker south bound for a vehicle collision involving a Penske truck. No injuries were reported.

8:27 a.m. A black moped was reported on the interstate at the 38 mile marker south bound.

12:34 p.m. Officers responded to Smith's Crossing for a pedestrian that was struck by a Avis moving truck. The pedestrian refused medical assistance and stated he had no injuries.

1:12 p.m. Officers responded to West Adams Street for a report of a suspicious person.

2:47 p.m. A RV was reported as driving recklessly at the 18 mile marker north bound on I-95.

3:32 p.m. Officers responded to the roadway of Logan Street to met with a female complainant. The female stated that as she walked on North Logan Street, she was approached by Henry Shawn Spann. Spann asked her for a cigarette. The female retrieved a cigarette and Spann ended up taking cash from the female. A warrant has been issued for Spann charging him with petit larceny.

4:06 p.m. A moped was reported as being on I-95 near the 31 mile marker south bound.

6:00 p.m. Officers responded to the Shell Station, 8309 East Main Street, for a report of shoplifting. Officers watched video from the store and observed Brett Burnette as he placed two bottles of wine in his pants before he exited the store. Burnette did not pay for the wine before he exited. A warrant has been issued for Burnette charging him with shoplifting.

8:38 p.m. Officers responded to Coosaw Scenic for a motorist assist for a report of a bus being broken down.

9:36 p.m. 911 received a report of an open door at Ken's Tire Service, 10464 South Jacob Smart Boulevard. Responding officers found employees to still be at the business.

May 3

5:36 a.m. Officers responded to a residence on North Jacob Smart Boulevard for a suspicious vehicle.

7:18 a.m. Officers responded to the roadway of Great Swamp Road and West Main Street for a report of a dog with a leash on it running at large.

8:57 a.m. A black semi truck pulling white trailer was reported as driving recklessly at the 8 mile marker north bound on I-95.

1:58 p.m. Officers assisted the Jasper County Sheriff's Office looking for two subjects on Fordville Road.

2:34 p.m. Officers responded to the Ridgeland School, 250 Jaguar Trail, for a vehicle collision involving two vehicles. No injuries were reported.

4:16 p.m. Officers responded to the 18 mile marker south bound for a motorist assist.

5:55 p.m. Officers responded to the Siesta, 10530 South Jacob Smart Boulevard, for a 911 hang up call.

7:25 p.m. A white Honda van was reported as driving recklessly at the 18 mile marker north bound on I-95.

9:31 p.m. Officers assisted the South Carolina Highway Patrol on a traffic on North Jacob Smart Boulevard.

10:22 p.m. Officers responded to Family Dollar, 73 South Green Street, for a report of a suspicious vehicle.

10:28 p.m. Officers assisted the Department of Social Services with an inspection.

May 2

6:14 a.m. A semi truck was reported as driving recklessly at the 33 mile marker south bound on I-95.

7:35 a.m. A red semi truck was reported as driving recklessly at the 14 mile marker north bound on I-95.

10:38 a.m. A moving truck was reported as driving recklessly at the 26 mile marker south bound on I-95.

11:23 a.m. Officers responded to a residence on Wise Street for an activated alarm.

1:21 p.m. Officers responded to McDonald's after they received information that Sidney Creighton Ford, Jr. was working at he place of business. Ford had two outstanding warrants stemming from an incident on January 23, 2018. Ford was located at the place of business and arrested as he tried to exit the business through a side door. Ford was served with the two warrants; one for Domestic Violence 3rd Degree and he other for Malicious Injury to Property, more than $2,000 but less than $10,000. Ford was transported to the Jasper County Detention Center.

3:14 p.m. A gray Toyota Camry was stopped on I-95 at exit 21 for a speeding violation. When officers approached the vehicle, the odor of marijuana was detected and a probable cause search of the vehicle was conducted. Marijuana was located within the vehicle and the driver, Albert Almaguer Ledesma, was arrested for simple possession of marijuana. Ledesma was transported to the Jasper County Detention Center. Ledesma's vehicle was towed by a wrecker from rotation to their facility.

3:16 p.m. A silver truck was reported as driving recklessly on Old House Road.

4:02 p.m. Officers responded to the Jasper County Detention Center for a report of a male prisoner committing suicide while he was in a cell.

4:19 p.m. Officers responded to a residence on Queen's Way for a report of a female trespassing.

8:16 p.m. Officers responded to the Dollar General, 8123 East Main Street, for a report of a civil dispute involving two customers. After officers advised the customers of the proper way to handle their dispute, the manager of the store wanted the two customers placed on trespass notice.

10:45 p.m. A blue Hummer was reported as driving recklessly at the 21 mile marker north bound on I-95.

11:36 p.m. Officers responded to the Gulf Station, 8250 East Main Street, for a report of a suspicious male in the store. The male was gone when officers arrived

May 1

1:08 a.m. Officers responded to Sailfish Circle for a report of a opossum inside of a residence.

8:58 a.m. Officers assisted the South Carolina Highway Patrol with a traffic stop on North Jacob Smart Boulevard.

10:53 a.m. Officers responded to the Quality Inn, 221 James L. Taylor Drive, to conduct a welfare check on a female staying at the hotel.

2:31 p.m. Officers responded to the BP Gas Station, 80 Blue Heron Drive, for a report of a male subject that was harassing employees. The male subject was placed on trespass notice at the request of the business.

3:15 p.m. Officers were flagged down on Captain Bill Road by a female complainant in reference to a domestic that occurred outside of the city. The Jasper County Sheriff's Office was notified of the incident.

4:28 p.m. Officers responded to a residence on Honey Comb Lane for a report of a domestic dispute between husband and wife.

6:40 p.m. Officers responded to Ridgeland Family Denistry, 10832 North Jacob Smart Boulevard, for an activated alarm.

10:05 p.m. A silver Saab was reported as driving recklessly on North Jasper Street and 1st Avenue.
