12:43 p.m. A blue semi was reported as driving recklessly at the 28 mile marker south bound on I-95.

2:26 p.m. Officers responded to the 24 mile marker south bound on I-95 for a vehicle fire.

7:43 a.m. Officers responded to the Exxon Station on East Main Street for a report of a suspicious vehicle.

12:40 p.m. Officers responded to EnMarket, 8250 East Main Street, for a report of a shoplifting incident. The subject, Romoan Elliot Chester, was located about 10 minutes later and arrested. Chester was charged with shoplifting and transported to the Jasper County Detention Center.

2:12 p.m. Officers removed a subject selling items on town property at the intersection of East Main Street and Sycamore Drive.

2:25 p.m. Officers responded to Oak Ridge North for an animal complaint.

1:40 a.m. Officers responded to Red Drum Street for a domestic dispute.

6:46 a.m. Officers responded to the Days Inn, 8216 East Main Street, for a report of two people arguing in the lobby. The subjects were gone when officers arrived.

3:46 p.m. Officers responded to South Logan Street for a report of a suspicious female subject in the roadway.

4:09 p.m. Officers responded to EnMarket, 8205 East Main Street, for a report of a suspicious person.

5:05 p.m. Officers assisted the Jasper County Sheriff's Office with a warrant service at Wood Ridge Apartments, 414 South Logan Street.

Officers responded to the 22 mile marker south bound on I-95 for a vehicle collision involving two vehicles. No injuries were reported.

11:20 p.m. Officers responded to Dolphin Drive for a report of loud music.

11:27 p.m. Officers responded to 242 Hagin Drive for a report of Jarrett Scott Sandifer firing a weapon into the residence located at this address. Sandifer was located and arrested. Sandifer was transported to the Jasper County Detention Center. Sandifer was charged with possession of schedule 2 narcotics, possession of a weapon during the commission of a violent crime, possession of a firearm by a person convicted of a felony, discharging a weapon into a dwelling, armed robbery, domestic violence of a high and aggravated nature and pointing and presenting a firearm.

March 20

10:20 a.m. Officers responded to the park located at 901 North Logan Street for a report of vandalism. Officers reviewed video from the area and observed a juvenile spray painting various items in the park. A juvenile petition has been filed charging the juvenile with malicious injury to real property.

10:25 a.m. Officers met with a complainant in reference to threats being received by text messages.

3:46 p.m. A blue sedan was reported as driving recklessly on Dolphin Drive.

6:39 p.m. Officers responded to a residence on West Main Street for a 911 hang up call.

8:28 p.m. Officers responded to the BP Station, 11122 North Jacob Smart Boulevard, for a report of two people arguing in the parking lot.

9:10 p.m. Officers conducted a traffic stop on a Ford Taurus for a speeding violation at the 19 mile marker south bound on I-95. The driver of the vehicle, Daruis T. Williams, was wanted out of Fulton County, Georgia. Williams was arrested for being a fugitive from justice and transported to the Jasper County Detention Center.

2:25 a.m. Officers responded to South Logan Street for a report of loud music.

8:27 a.m. Officers responded to the 22 mile marker south bound on I-95 for damage to a vehicle after it struck debris.

8:57 a.m. Officers responded to the 23 mile marker north bound on I-95 for a motorist assist.

March 18

12:06 p.m. Officers responded to Colleton County Detention Center to pick up Christy Lynn Delaney. Delaney had an outstanding warrant for fraud stemming from a case on June 25, 2019, at the Waffle House. Delaney was transported to the Jasper County Detention Center.

2:56 p.m. Officers responded to the Piggly Wiggly, 10874 North Jacob Smart Boulevard, for a shoplifting incident. The suspect was located and placed on trespass notice at request of the business. The business refused to prosecute.

8:43 p.m. Officers responded to the roadway of East Wilson Street for a report of a suspicious person.

9:28 p.m. Officers responded to a residence on Shade Tree Street for a report of an incorrigible juvenile.

March 17

9:51 a.m. A black Ford F450 was reported as driving recklessly at the 28 mile marker south bound on I-95.

1:29 p.m. Officers responded to South Jacob Smart Boulevard for a report of a male subject laying in the grass next to the roadway.

3:49 p.m. Officers responded to East Main Street for a report of people arguing on a parking lot.

4:47 p.m. Officers met with a complainant on South Jacob Smart Boulevard in reference to comments being made about her on FaceBook.

5:11 p.m. Officers responded to West Wilson Street for a vehicle collision involving two vehicles. No injuries were reported.

10:25 p.m. Officers assisted the South Carolina Highway Patrol with a vehicle collision at the 25 mile marker north bound on I-95.

7:59 a.m. Officers responded to a residence on East Langford Street for an activated alarm.

9:16 a.m. Officers responded to Grahamville Road for a motorist assist.

10:56 a.m. Officers responded to South Green Street for a vehicle collision involving two vehicles. No injuries were reported.

11:45 a.m. Officers responded to South Jacob Smart for an activated alarm.

11:53 a.m. Officers responded to East Man Street for a vehicle collision involving two vehicles. No injuries were reported.

Officers responded to Sunoco, 11965 North Jacob Smart Boulevard, for a shoplifting incident.

7:37 p.m. Officers responded to South Jacob Smart Boulevard for a report of two suspicious people walking in the roadway.

9:27 p.m. A silver Hyundai was reported as driving recklessly at the 21 mile marker north bound on I-95.

March 15

12:16 a.m. Officers located a black Dodge Charger in a ditch on Sister's Ferry Road. While they were speaking with the sole occupant of the vehicle, the occupant fled the scene. The incident remains under further investigation.

4:03 a.m. Officers responded to the Jasper County Detention Center where Aubrey Demond Washington was brought in by the Jasper County Sheriff's Office. Washington had charges stemming from an incident on April 3, 2019. Washington was charged with breaking into motor vehicles at the Travel Lodge on East Main Street. Washington was served two warrants from the Ridgeland Police Department.

6:32 a.m. Officers responded to Glover Road for a vehicle collision involving two vehicles. No injuries were reported.

9:29 a.m. Officers responded to a residence on South Logan Street to assist EMS.

10:48 a.m. Officers responded to the BP Station, 80 Blue Heron Drive, for a report of a customer yelling at an employee. The subject was located and placed on trespass notice at request of the business.

8:38 a.m. Officers responded to Ridgeland Physical Therapy, 10616 South Jacob Smart Boulevard, for an activated alarm.

9:10 a.m. A beige Nissan Rogue was reported as driving recklessly at the 21 mile marker north bound on I-95.

7:18 p.m. Officers responded to Subway, 8234 East Main Street, for a report of an assault and battery between two females. The incident remains under further investigation.

9:13 p.m. A white Chevrolet Travers was reported as driving recklessly at the 16 mile marker north bound on I-95.

10:18 p.m. A white sedan was reported as driving recklessly at the 14 mile marker north bound on I-95.

March 13

7:39 a.m. A yellow semi was reported as driving recklessly at the 28 mile marker south bound on I-95.

10:26 a.m. Officers responded to Turtle Park, 7675 West Main Street, for a report of an intoxicated subject. The subject was not located by responding officers.

1:37 p.m. Officers responded to Family Dollar, 74 South Green Street, for a report of a shoplifting incident. When officers arrived they learned that Angel Rose concealed items in an attempt to deprive the business of retail value for the items. Rose was arrested for shoplifting and transported to the Jasper County Detention Center.

5:12 p.m. Officers responded to North Jacob Smart Boulevard for a vehicle collision involving two vehicles. No injuries were reported.

7:16 p.m. Officers responded to Heron Crossing Apartments, 72 Heron Crossing Road, for a report of a group of people making noise in the parking lot.

Officers responded to Colony Drive for a report of a suspicious person in the roadway.

8:15 p.m. Officers responded to North Jasper Street for a report of a suspicious person.

9:47 p.m. A white Dodge van was reported as driving recklessly at the 18 mile marker north bound on I-95.

March 12

3:34 a.m. Officers responded to the BP Station, 10728 South Jacob Smart Boulevard, for a burglary. The incident remains under further investigation.

8:51 a.m. Officers responded to a residence on South Logan Street for an activated alarm.

9:05 a.m. Officers responded to Nimmer Turf Farm for a report of a fight in progress. Officers were able to determine that no physical contact was made between the two parties involved.

9:16 a.m. Officers responded to a residence on South Logan Street to assist EMS with a patient transport.

2:01 p.m. Officers responded to Wood Ridge Apartments, 414 South Logan Street, for a report of a suspicious vehicle.

6:05 p.m. Officers responded to a residence on Oak Plantation Drive for a 911 hang up call.

March 11

10:34 a.m. Officers responded to East Main Street to conduct a welfare check on a pedestrian.

6:42 pm. Officers responded to North Green Street for a hit and run collision. No injuries were reported.

6:50 p.m. Officers responded to Colony Drive for a report of a dog running at large.

March 10

12:18 a.m. Officers responded to EnMarket, 8250 East Main Street, for a report of a shoplifting. An unknown male walked into the business, grabbed a case of beer and walked out without paying for the item. Officers were able to identify the subject as Antwain Drake and a warrant affidavit has been filed charging Drake with shoplifting.

12:10 p.m. Officers responded to The Mission, 11754 North Jacob Smart Boulevard, to conduct a welfare check on a resident.

4:24 p.m. Officers responded to EnMarket, 8250 East Main Street, to place a male subject on trespass notice at the request of the business.

7:32 p.m. Officers responded to a residence on West Adams Street for a report of a stolen vehicle. The incident remains under further investigation.

9:39 p.m. Officers responded to the 18 mile marker north bound on I-95 for a motorist assist.

10:09 p.m. Officers responded to a residence on South Railroad Avenue for an activated alarm.

Officers responded to the Jasper County Detention Center to serve an arrest warrant on Melissa Marie Deloach. Deloach was brought in by the Jasper County Sheriff's Office on unrelated charges. Deloach was arrested by the Ridgeland Police Department for littering stemming from an incident on August 28, 2019, at Turpin Park.

March 9

8:20 a.m. Officers responded to Beaufort/Jasper Volunteers in Medicine, 11332 North Jacob Smart Boulevard, for an activated alarm.

12:11 p.m. Officers responded to Malphrus Road for a dog running at large.

12:23 p.m. A silver Dodge truck was reported as driving recklessly on West Main Street.

2:21 p.m. A black Chevrolet Impala was reported as driving recklessly at the 28 mile marker south bound on I-95.

3:58 p.m. Officers responded ot East Wilson Street for a report of a suspicious male in the roadway.

5:34 p.m. Officers responded to Ridgeland Correctional Institute to assist EMS with a transport.

9:42 a.m. Officers met with a complainant in the parking lot of McDonald's in reference to debris striking their vehicle while on I-95.

9:57 p.m. Officers responded to the EnMarket, 8250 East Main Street, for a report of a person acting suspiciously in the business.

March 3

12:46 a.m. Officers responded to a residence on Honey Comb Lane for a domestic dispute between a husband and wife.

8:26 a.m. Officers responded to a residence on North Jacob Smart Boulevard for a larceny. The incident remains under further investigation.

10:00 a.m. Officers responded to Boat N RV World, 107 Sycamore Drive, for a damage to property incident. The complainant stated to responding officers that a camper was damaged by the business after they took possession of it.

12:53 p.m. Officers met with a complainant in the parking lot of El Ranchito Restaurant, 11382 North Jacob Smart Boulevard, for a hit and run collision that occurred the previous day.
