4:29 a.m. Officers assisted EMS with a patient on East Adams Street.

10:19 a.m. Officers responded to McDonald's, 8548 Grahamville Road, for a report of a customers wallet being stolen. The wallet was recovered and returned to the victim and the victim refused prosecution.

10:34 a.m. Officers responded to the 22 mile marker north bound on I-95 for a vehicle collision involving three vehicles. No injuries were reported.

11:58 a.m. Officers responded to the 18 mile marker north bound for a vehicle collision involving two vehicles. No injuries were reported.

6:50 p.m. Officers responded to South Jacob Smart Boulevard for a vehicle collision involving two vehicles. One person was transported by EMS.

12:47 p.m. Officers responded to a residence on Shade Tree Street for a 911 hang up call.

1:10 p.m. Officers responded to a residence on Weathersbee Street in reference to found property.

1:47 p.m. Officers responded to Dollar General, 8123 East Main Street, for report of shoplifting. The incident remains under further investigation.

3:12 p.m. A white truck was reported as driving recklessly at the 28 mile marker south bound on I-95.

3:22 p.m. Officers responded to Piggly Wiggly, 10847 North Jacob Smart Boulevard, in reference to a child left unattended in a parked vehicle.

7:52 p.m. A white SUV was reported as driving recklessly at the 7 mile marker north bound on I-95.

9:15 p.m. Officers responded to the parking lot of Pizza Hut, 10856 North Jacob Smart Boulevard, for a vehicle collision involving two vehicles. No injuries were reported.

11:33 p.m. Officers responded to the BP Station, 80 Blue Heron Drive, for a motorist assist.

March 29

4:35 a.m. Officers responded to New Hong Kong Restaurant, 8176 East Main Street, for an activated alarm.

11:11 a.m. Officers responded to the parking lot of Subway, 8234 East Main Street, for a vehicle collision involving two vehicles. No injuries were reported.

2:17 p.m. Officers responded to a residence on East Wilson Street for an activated alarm.

3:28 p.m. Officers responded to the intersection of 3rd Avenue and Floyd Street for a vehicle collision involving two vehicles. No injuries were reported.

7:54 p.m. Officers responded to a residence on East Adams Street for an activated alarm.

11:59 p.m. Officers observed a vehicle traveling above the posted speed limit on Grays Highway and conducted a traffic stop. The driver of the vehicle, Antwan Tyrese Brown, had a handgun in his possession and records indicated that he was prohibited from possessing a handgun. Brown was arrested for felon in possession of a firearm. Incident to arrest, Brown was searched and officers located a pill in his right shoe. The pill was determined to be a schedule 2 narcotic. Brown was transported to the Jasper County Detention Center.

March 28

12:47 a.m. Officers responded to New Hong Kong Restaurant, 8176 East Main Street, for an activate alarm.

7:37 a.m. Officers observed a red Nissan Rogue traveling 101 miles per hour on I-95 at the 22 mile marker south bound on I-95. Officers conducted a traffic stop and learned that the driver, David Z. Perez, did not have a valid driver's license. Perez was arrested for speeding and no driver's license and transported to the Jasper County Detention Center. The vehicle was turned over to a licensed passenger.

9:00 a.m. A black sports car was reported as driving recklessly at the 28 mile marker south bound on I-95.

8:14 p.m. A white semi truck was reported as driving recklessly at the 22 mile marker south bound on I-95.

8:41 p.m. Officers responded to the intersection of Jacob Smart Boulevard and Main Street for a vehicle collision involving two vehicles. No injuries were reported.

9:55 a.m. Officers responded to Bay Tree Apartments, 107 1st Avenue, for a report of loud music.

2:44 p.m. Officers responded to Turtle Park, 7675 West Main Street, for a report of a suspicious person.

5:58 p.m. Officers responded to a residence on North Green Street for a report of an incorrigible juvenile.

6:32 p.m. Officers observed a red Ford Ranger being driven on Russell Street by Jean Freeman. Officers had prior knowledge that Freeman had a suspended driver's license. A traffic stop was conducted and officers learned that Freeman's vehicle had a suspended vehicle license and did not have proper insurance. Freeman was arrested for driving under suspension, operating with a suspended vehicle license and operating uninsured. Freeman was transported to the Jasper County Detention Center. Freeman's vehicle was towed by a wrecker service from rotation.

9:26 a.m. Officers responded to the 18 mile marker south bound on I-95 for a vehicle collision involving two vehicles. One person was transported by EMS to a local hospital.

12:35 p.m. Officers responded to the Health Department, 651 Grays Highway, for a vehicle collision in the parking lot involving two vehicles. No injuries were reported.

4:05 p.m. Officers responded to a residence on Eleanor Avenue for an activated alarm.

7:18 p.m. Officers observed a silver Ford Focus traveling above the posted speed limit at the 20 mile marker south bound on I-95. The driver of the vehicle, Gerald Knott, did not have a valid driver's license and was arrested for speeding and no driver's license. Knott was transported to the Jasper County Detention Center. The vehicle was towed by a wrecker service from rotation.

11:17 p.m. Officers responded to Devonwood Apartments, 137 Captain Bill Road, for a welfare check in reference to an open door.

March 25

12:24 a.m. Officers observed a white Nissan Sentra traveling at 106 miles per hour at the 19 mile marker north bound on I-95. A traffic stop was conducted and the driver of the vehicle, Tanisha Dillon, was found to have a suspended driver's license. Dillon was arrested for speeding and driving under suspension. Dillon was transported to the Jasper County Detention Center and her vehicle was turned over to a licensed driver in the vehicle.

4:04 a.m. Officers responded to Carolina Lodge, 8260 East Main Street, for an open door on an unrented room. The room was checked and no unwanted subjects were located.

9:39 a.m. Officers met with a complainant at the Ridgeland Police Department in reference to a lost vehicle license.

2:42 p.m. A blue Nissan vehicle was reported as driving recklessly on Logan Street.

7:30 p.m. Officers responded to the 24 mile marker on I-95 for a motorist assist.

7:48 p.m. Officers responded to West Adams Street for a report of loud noises.

8:44 p.m. Officers responded to a residence on Ivy Street in reference to a complaint of an assault and battery that occurred at another location. The incident remains under further investigation.

March 24

8:52 a.m. Officers observed a white Chevrolet Suburban traveling in excess of the posted speed limit at the 24 mile marker south bound on I-95. A traffic stop was conducted and officers learned that the driver of the vehicle, Anngelee Latrell Patrell White, was driving with a suspended driver's license. The vehicle license on White's vehicle was also suspended. White was arrested for speeding, driving under suspension, failure to surrender a suspended driver's license and suspended vehicle license. White was transported to the Jasper County Detention Center. White's vehicle was released to a licensed passenger and allowed to leave the scene.

4:16 p.m. Officers responded to the parking lot of Harvey's, 8205 East Main Street, for a vehicle collision involving two vehicles. No injuries were reported.

5:30 p.m. Officers responded to a residence on Shade Tree Street for a report of property damage. 6:25 p.m.

6:25 p.m. A black Toyota RAV4 was reported as driving recklessly at the 21 mile marker north bound on I-95.

6:54 p.m. Officers responded to the 24 mile marker north bound on I-95 for a vehicle collision involving two vehicles. No injuries were reported.

6:53 a.m. Officers responded to Waffle House, 8185 East Main Street, for a report of a customer not paying their bill. The customer was located and the bill was paid in full.

10:41 a.m. A white Chevrolet truck was reported as driving recklessly at the 15 mile marker north bound on I-95.

12:04 p.m. Officers responded to a residence on Malphrus Street for a report of unwanted phone calls.

1:19 p.m. Officers responded to the roadway of Carter's Mill Road for a report of a dog running at large.

4:29 p.m. Officers responded to the 23 mile marker north bound on I-95 for a vehicle collision involving two vehicles. No injuries were reported.

8:05 p.m. A white Toyota van was reported as driving recklessly on Grays Highway.

6:57 a.m. Officers responded to Waffle House, 8185 East Main Street, for a report of a female repeatedly calling 911 for a non-emergency issue.

7:10 a.m. Officers responded to a residence on North Green Street for a report of a incorrigible juvenile.

1:02 p.m. Officers responded to Turtle Park, 7675 West Main Street, for a welfare check on a male subject.

1:45 p.m. Officers went to Bay Tree Apartments, 107 1st Avenue, and located Keith Lamont Howard. Howard was arrested for Felony DUI involving death, Felony DUI involving great bodily injury, open container, and operating uninsured motor vehicle. Howard was operating a 2010 Mercedes-Benz on February 8, 2019, when it was involved in a collision. As a result of the collision, one person was pronounced dead and another person received great bodily injuries. Howard was transported to the Jasper County Detention Center.

3:05 p.m. A white semi truck was reported as driving recklessly at the 8 mile marker north bound on I-95.

3:19 p.m. Officers responded to Bay Tree Apartments, 107 1st Avenue, for a report of a suspicious female subject.

3:48 p.m. Officers responded to West Main Street for a report of a male subject panhandling in the roadway.

8:16 p.m. Officers assisted the Jasper County Sheriff's Office on a traffic stop on I-95.

11:08 a.m. Officers assisted the Ridgeland Fire Department with a structure fire at Burger King, 8257 East Main Street.

12:58 p.m. Officers responded to Shade Tree Street for a report of a suspicious vehicle.

1:41 p.m. Officers responded to Dollar General, 8123 East Main Street, for a report of a suspicious subject in the business.

3:42 p.m. Officers responded to a residence on West Adams Street for an activated alarm.

6:33 p.m. Officers responded to the Sunoco Station, 11965 North Jacob Smart Boulevard, for a report of a male subject driving a vehicle without a valid driver's license. Officers made contact with Billy Ray Moore and discovered that his South Carolina driver's license was suspended. Moore had driven his vehicle to the Sunoco Station. Moore was arrested for driving under suspension. Moore was searched incident to arrest and a quantity of a substance believed to be marijuana was located in his right boot. Moore was transported to the Jasper County Detention Center.

8:34 p.m. Officers met with a complainant at the BP Station, 80 Blue Heron Drive, in reference to property that they found at Bay Tree Apartments, 107 1st Avenue.

8:41 p.m. Officers responded to Regions Bank, 11004 North Jacob Smart Boulevard, for an activated alarm.

March 13

6:16 a.m. Officers responded to Old House Road for a vehicle collision involving one vehicle and a deer. No injuries were reported.

12:01 p.m. Officers responded to South Jasper Street to assist EMS with a patient transport.

3:56 p.m. Officers responded to the 24 mile marker south bound on I-95 for a vehicle collision involving one vehicle. No injuries were reported.

7:40 a.m. A gold Honda Accord was reported as driving recklessly at the 28 mile marker south bound on I-95.

8:20 a.m. Officers responded to Coosaw Scenic Drive for a vehicle collision involving two vehicles. No injuries were reported.

11:01 a.m. Officers observed a red Dodge Neon at the 23 mile marker south bound on I-95 with a vehicle license violation. A traffic stop was conducted and officers immediately detected the odor of marijuana. Marijuana was located in the vehicle and the owner was charged with simple possession of marijuana.

12:55 p.m. Officers responded to Wendy's, 8480 Grahamville Road, for a vehicle collision in the parking lot involving two vehicles. No injuries were reported.

5:44 p.m. Officers responded to the Jasper County Court House, 265 Russell Street, for an activated alarm.

6:52 p.m. Officers responded to the football field behind the old school, 456 Grays Highway, for a dog running at large. The dog was located and transported to JARM.

7:03 p.m. Officers responded to a residence on West Main Street for a larceny. The incident remains under further investigation.

3:26 p.m. Officers responded to East Wilson Street for a vehicle collision involving two vehicles. No injuries were reported.

10:36 p.m. Officers discovered an open door at Jasper's Porch while conducting property checks. Officers cleared the building and secured the doors before departing.

6:19 a.m. Officers responded to the Commercial Motor Vehicle parking area on the north bound side of I-95 for report of skeletal remains. The skeleton was found to be made from plastic. No further investigation was conducted.

11:05 a.m. Officers responded to Ridgeland Physical Therapy, 10616 South Jacob Smart Boulevard, for an activated alarm.

11:44 a.m. Officers responded to the 21 mile marker south bound on I-95 for a motorist assist.

12:40 p.m. A black Chevrolet truck was reported as driving recklessly at the 28 mile marker south bound on I-95.

2:54 p.m. Officers responded to Shine Town, 857 James L. Taylor Drive, for a report of a suspicious vehicle.

3:03 p.m. A grey Dodge truck was reported as driving recklessly at the 15 mile marker north bound on I-95.

3:21 p.m. Officers responded to the 18 mile marker north bound on I-95 for a vehicle collision involving two vehicles. No injuries were reported.

7:57 p.m. A white sedan was reported as driving recklessly at the 19 mile marker north bound on I-95.

10:35 p.m. A black SUV was reported as driving very slowly and without headlights at the 21 mile marker south bound on I-95.

March 9

4:30 p.m. Officers responded to Great Swamp Road for a welfare check on a pedestrian.

5:29 p.m. A white semi truck was report as driving recklessly at the 18 mile marker north bound on I-95.

7:51 a.m. Officers observed a silver Ford F-150 traveling above the posted speed limit at the 22 mile marker north bound on I-95. Officers conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle for the violation and immediately detected the odor of marijuana. Marijuana was located in the vehicle and the owner of the substance was charged with simple possession of marijuana.

4:55 p.m. Officers responded to a residence on Oak Ridge North for an assault and battery. The victim was taken to a local hospital after he spoke with responding officers. The incident remains under further investigation.

6:44 p.m. Officers responded to Malphrus Street in reference to a civil dispute.

7:37 p.m. Officers observed a grey Dodge Caliber traveling above the posted speed limit at the 24 mile marker south bound on I-95. A traffic stop was conducted for the violation and officers learned that the driver of the vehicle, Emily Rose Walter, did not have a valid driver's license. Walter was arrested and transported to the Jasper County Detention Center. A wrecker from rotation towed the vehicle to their facility.

March 8

12:31 a.m. A white semi truck was reported as driving recklessly at the 15 mile marker north bound on I-95.

7:19 a.m. A white Toyota Camry was reported as driving recklessly on Grays Highway.

9:21 a.m. Officers responded to H&H Furniture, 10706 South Jacob Smart Boulevard, for an activated alarm.

2:10 p.m. Officers responded to the 21 mile marker south bound on I-95 for a motorist assist.

3:51 p.m. Officers responded to Star Point BP, 11122 North Jacob Smart Boulevard, to assist EMS with a patient transport.

3:59 p.m. Officers responded to Bay Tree Apartments, 107 1st Avenue, for a report of a group of people causing a disturbance.

4:46 p.m. Officers responded to Shade Tree Street for a report of an ATV being ridden on posted property.

7:05 p.m. Officers responded to Devinwood Apartments, 137 Captain Bill Road, for a disturbance in the parking lot.

8:43 p.m. Officers responded to a residence on McTeer Avenue for an activated alarm.

March 7

3:04 a.m. A black semi truck was reported as driving recklessly at the 11 mile marker north bound on I-95.

6:01 a.m. Officers responded to Pizza Bella, 8196 East Main Street, for an activated alarm.

9:29 a.m. Officers responded to Shade Tree Street for a report of a dog running at large.

11:38 a.m. A white Buick Century was reported as driving recklessly at the 15 mile marker north bound on I-95.

12:05 p.m. A white Dodge van was reported as driving recklessly on Old House Road.

12:33 p.m. Officers responded to Miller Street in reference to three suspicious males.

5:39 p.m. A grey Mercedes sedan was reported as driving recklessly at the 21 mile marker south bound on I-95.

9:57 p.m. Officers observed a grey Ford Focus traveling above the posted speed limit at the 21 mile marker north bound on I-95. A traffic stop was conducted and officers learned that the driver of the vehicle, Frank Thomas Verga, did not have a valid driver's license. Verga was arrested for speeding and no driver's license. Verga was transported to the Jasper County Detention Center. Verga's vehicle was turned over to a licensed driver in the vehicle.

April 6

8:22 a.m. Officers responded to Wise Street for a report of a suspicious person.

10:22 a.m. Officers responded to Hagin Drive for a report of three suspicious males.

10:33 p.m. Officers responded to Shade Tree Street for a report of a suspicious vehicle.

11:39 a.m. Officers responded to the 24 mile marker south bound on I-95 for a vehicle collision involving three vehicles. No injuries were reported.

1:29 p.m. A grey Cadillac SUV was reported as driving recklessly at the 21 mile marker south bound on I-95.

4:12 p.m. Officers responded to the Ridgeland School for a vehicle collision involving two vehicles in the parking lot. No injuries were reported.

4:23 p.m. Officers responded to the Family Dollar, 73 South Green Street, for a report of a missing deposit. The incident remains under further investigation.

4:48 p.m. Officers responded to Siesta, 10530 South Jacob Smart Boulevard, to assist EMS with a patient transport.

8:01 p.m. Officers responded to Family Dollar, 73 South Green Street, for a vehicle collision involving two vehicles in the parking lot. No injuries were reported.

8:55 p.m. Officers conducted a welfare check on a male subject walking in the roadway on Tillman Road.

March 5

12:45 a.m. Officers observed a red Chrysler 300 traveling above the posted speed limit at the 21 mile marker north bound on I-95. A traffic stop was conducted and officers learned that the driver of the vehicle, Miguel Alcocer-Villanueva, was driving without a valid driver's license. Alcocer-Villanueva was arrested for speeding and no driver's license. He was transported to the Jasper County Detention Center. A wrecker from rotation towed the vehicle to their facility.

3:24 a.m. Officers responded to Shine Town, 857 James L. Taylor Drive, for an activated alarm.

4:34 a.m. A white semi truck was reported as driving recklessly at the 26 mile marker south bound on I-95.

7:10 a.m. Officers responded to a residence on 2nd Avenue for an activated alarm.

1:30 p.m. Officers responded to West Main Street for a vehicle collision involving two vehicles. No injuries were reported.

3:33 p.m. A white Subaru Legacy was reported as driving recklessly at the 28 mile marker south bound on I-95.

4:36 p.m. Officers responded to East Adams Street for a report of two dogs running at large.

7:31 p.m. A white Chevrolet truck was reported as driving recklessly at the 13 mile marker north bound on I-95.

10:46 p.m. Officers assisted EMS on Green Street with a patient.

March 4

7:13 a.m. Officers responded to Shade Tree Street for a report of two dogs running at large. The dogs were located and returned to their owner.

7:57 a.m. Officers responded to Cherry Hill Road for a report of two cows in the roadway.

10:51 a.m. Officers responded to South State Bank, 10671 South Jacob Smart Boulevard, for a vehicle collision involving two vehicles that occurred in the parking lot. No injuries were reported.

10:56 a.m. Officers responded to West Main Street near Railroad Avenue for a motorist assist.

11:36 a.m. Officers responded to Oak Ridge North for a report of a missing dog.

5:24 p.m. A black Chevrolet Silverado was reported as driving recklessly at the 20 mile marker south bound on I-95.

March 3

12:21 a.m. A black Chrysler van was reported as driving recklessly at the 16 mile marker north bound on I-95.

1:00 a.m. Officers responded to Old House Road for a report of two cows in the roadway.

5:28 a.m. A red Ford F-150 was reported as driving recklessly at the 21 mile marker north bound on I-95.

9:45 a.m. Officers responded to Travel Lodge, 8216 East Main Street, to assist EMS with a patient transport.

10:41 a.m. A black car was reported as driving recklessly at the 3 mile marker north bound on I-95.

2:38 p.m. Officers responded to Captain Bill Road for a report of illegal dumping. The incident remains under further investigation.

3:53 p.m. Officers responded to the 22 mile marker south bound on I-95 for a motorist assist.

4:18 p.m. Officers responded to a residence on 2nd Avenue for a report of dogs barking .

8:59 p.m. Officers responded to the 16 mile marker south bound on I-95 to assist the South Carolina Highway Patrol with a vehicle collision.

March 2

6:18 a.m. Officers responded to Short Stop BP, 10728 South Jacob Smart Boulevard, for an activated alarm.

8:44 a.m. Officers responded to Bay Tree Apartments, 107 1st Avenue, for a report of a male subject using drugs in the parking lot. When officers arrived they found the male fitting the description from the complainant. Officers began a conversation with the male and learned that he had a firearm in his satchel. Officers retrieved the firearm and discovered that the firearm was previously reported stolen from a residence in Ridgeland. The incident remains under further investigation.

9:11 a.m. Officers responded to Enmarket, 8250 East Main Street, for a report of damage to a fuel pump.

9:52 a.m. Officers responded to the 21 mile marker north bound on I-95 for a motorist assist.

3:43 p.m. Officers responded to a residence on Shade Tree Street for a report of a suspicious phone call.

5:45 p.m. Officers responded to a residence on Captain Bill Road for a report of a suspicious person.

6:30 p.m. Officers responded to Palms Motel, 10735 South Jacob Smart Boulevard, to assist EMS with a patient transport.

8:13 p.m. A black truck was reported as driving recklessly at the 21 mile marker south bound on I-95.

10:00 p.m. Officers responded to Oak Ridge North for a report of loud noises.

March 1

12:19 a.m. Officers responded to the 24 mile marker south bound on I-95 for a vehicle collision involving two vehicles. No injuries were reported.

9:02 a.m. Officers met with a complainant at the Jasper County Sheriff's Office in reference to a stolen vehicle. The vehicle was last seen on Shade Tree Street. The white Chevrolet Impala is listed in NCIC as stolen.

10:11 a.m. Officers responded to Star Point BP, 11122 North Jacob Smart Boulevard, to assist EMS with a patient transport.

12:06 p.m. A white semi truck was reported as driving recklessly at the 21 mile marker south bound on I-95.

3:40 p.m. Officers responded to the Travel Lodge, 8216 East Main Street, for a civil dispute.

6:44 p.m. Officers responded to the DSS Office, 10908 North Jacob Smart Boulevard, for a report of a suspicious vehicle.

6:49 p.m. Officers responded to a residence on Shade Tree Street for a report of two neighbors yelling at each other.

10:26 p.m. Officers responded to McDonald's, 8548 Grahamville Road, for a report of a vehicle striking a downspout on the side of the building.

11:08 p.m. Officers responded to Wendy's, 8480 Grahamville Road, for a report of a suspicious vehicle.
