7:03 a.m. Officers met with Tahkaya Laparys Alston at the Jasper County Detention Center. Alston had an outstanding warrant for breach of trust in reference to an incident at the Dollar General on May 8, 2019. Alston was arrested and booked in the detention center for breach of trust.

12:41 p.m. Officers responded to a residence on Shadetree Street in reference to harassing phone calls.

2:21 p.m. Officers responded to Wendy's, 8480 Grahamville Road, for a report of a customer harassing customers.

2:32 p.m. Officers responded to South Green Street for a motorist assist.

2:43 p.m. Officers responded to the Citgo Station, 107 Sycamore Drive, for a report of a vehicle striking a fuel pump.

Officers responded to the Siesta Motel, 10530 South Jacob Smart Boulevard, to assist DSS on a welfare check.

3:38 a.m. A silver Chevrolet truck was reported as driving recklessly at the 16 mile marker north bound on I-95.

10:06 a.m. Officers responded to South Jacob Smart Boulevard for a vehicle collision involving two vehicles. No injuries were reported.

3:43 p.m. Officers responded to McCormack for a report of a suspicious female.

3:59 p.m. Officers responded to a residence on Eleanor Avenue for a report of harassing phone calls.

6:59 a.m. Officers responded to East Main Street for a report of an injured dog. The dog was located and taken to JARM.

12:00 p.m. Officers responded to Quality Inn, 221 James L. Taylor Drive, for a report of a person still in their room after check out time. The subject was located and escorted from the property.

1:08 p.m. Officers responded to Burger King, 8257 East Main Street, for a civil matter.

1:47 a.m. Officers responded to EnMarket, 8250 East Main Street, for a report of a suspicious vehicle.

3:25 a.m. A light blue sedan was reported as driving recklessly at the 21 mile marker north bound on I-95.

7:51 a.m. Officers responded to McDonald's, 8548 Grahamville Road, for a vehicle collision in the parking lot involving two vehicles. No injuries were reported.

12:22 p.m. A white semi was reported as driving recklessly at the 10 mile marker north bound on I-95.

2:12 p.m. Officers responded to the 18 mile marker south bound on I-95 for a motorist assist.

A black Mercedes was reported as driving recklessly at the 15 mile marker north bound on I-95.

June 19

1:06 a.m. Officers responded to the Waffle House, 8185 East Main Street, for a report of an intoxicated male subject on the property. When officers arrived, they located Dexter Gray and identified him as the subject in question. Gray was arrested for disorderly conduct and transported to the Jasper County Detention Center.

2:38 a.m. Officers responded to the Jasper County Detention Center for a report of Dexter Gray exposing himself to a female detention officer. Gray was charged with indecent exposure.

8:15 a.m. Officers responded to a residence on Smiths Crossing for a welfare check on a dog tied in a yard.

8:45 a.m. Officers responded to Carters Mill Road for a report of a dog running at large.

June 18

7:45 a.m. Officers responded to Bees Creek Road for a vehicle collision involving two vehicles. No injuries were reported.

8:06 a.m. Officers responded to East Main Street for a report of a suspicious male subject.

8:28 a.m. Officers responded to Carters Mill Road for a report of a dog running at large.

8:51 a.m. Officers responded to Coastal Carolina Hospital to pick up a patient for a transport to a medical facility for a mental evaluation.

10:46 a.m. Officers responded to Harvey's, 8205 East Main Street, for a shoplifting. The incident remains under further investigation.

7:15 p.m. Officers responded to a residence on 1st Avenue for a report of a stolen handgun. The incident remains under further investigation.

10:13 p.m. A green Ford F-150 was reported as driving recklessly at the 22 mile marker north bound on I-95.

3:01 a.m. Officers responded to the EnMarket, 8250 East Main Street, for an activated alarm.

8:44 a.m. A black Ram truck was reported as driving recklessly at the 28 mile marker south bound on I-95.

10:26 a.m. Officers responded to the Shell Station, 8609 East Main Street, for a report of a shoplifting. The incident remains under further investigation.

11:36 a.m. Officers responded to the Jasper County Board of Disabilities, 1512 Grays Highway, for an activated alarm.

1:57 p.m. Officers responded to the intersection of East Main Street and Blue Heron Drive for a vehicle collision involving two vehicles. No injuries were reported.

A silver car was reported as driving recklessly at the 14 mile marker north bound on I-95.

3:36 p.m. Officers responded to Bay Tree Apartments, 107 1st Avenue, for a report of a subject panhandling in the parking lot.

7:39 p.m. Officers responded to East Wilson Street for a report of loud music coming from a residence.

8:06 p.m. Officers responded to the Sunoco Station, 11965 North Jacob Smart Boulevard, to assist EMS with a patient transport.

10:25 p.m. Officers responded to Bay Tree Apartments, 107 1st Avenue, for a domestic dispute. When officers arrived on scene, Shaneka Jackson was observed striking the victim and throwing a pair of scissors at the victim. Jackson was arrested for domestic violence, 3rd degree, and transported to the Jasper County Detention Center.

June 16

10:27 a.m. Officers responded to a residence on Dolphin Drive for a welfare check on a dog in a yard.

1:30 p.m. Officers responded to Harvey's, 8205 East Main Street, for a report of a vehicle being struck in the parking lot.

4:14 p.m. Officers responded to a residence on 1st Avenue for a welfare check on a resident.

6:02 p.m. Officers responded to Harvey's, 8205 East Main Street, for a report of two people arguing in the parking lot.

7:56 p.m. A silver Kia was reported as driving recklessly on South Jacob Smart Boulevard.

Officers responded to the parking lot of Bay Tree Apartments, 107 1st Avenue, for a report of loud noises.

10:58 p.m. Officers responded to Wood Duck Street for a report of people trespassing in a yard.

11:37 p.m. Officers responded to a residence for a n assault and battery that occurred at Schooner's, 10953 North Jacob Smart Boulevard. The incident remains under further investigation.

June 15

10:28 a.m. Officers met with a complainant at the Ridgeland Police Department in reference to a stolen vehicle license. The incident remains under further investigation.

11:39 p.m. Officers responded to the 22 mile marker north bound on I-95 for a motorist assist.

1:29 p.m. A white camper was reported as driving recklessly at the 14 mile marker north bound on I-95.

8:58 p.m. Officers responded to East Main Street for a report of a male subject panhandling.

9:27 p.m. Officers responded to the Enmarket, 8250 East Main Street, for a shoplifting incident. Jason Beayon was charged with shoplifting and released.

Officers assisted the Yemassee Police Department with a stolen Personal Care Ambulance on I-95 south bound.

June 14

6:28 a.m. Officers responded to East Main Street for a vehicle collision involving two vehicles. No injuries were reported.

8:07 a.m. Officers responded to West Main Street for a report of cats running at large.

8:33 a.m. Officers responded to East Main Street for a welfare check on a male subject.

11:58 a.m. Officers responded to Family Dollar, 74 South Green Street, for a vehicle collision involving two vehicle in the parking lot. No injuries were reported.

1:18 p.m. Officers responded to East Main Street for a vehicle collision involving two vehicles. No injuries were reported.

Officers responded to a residence on Ike Street for a report of two neighbors arguing.

7:37 p.m. Officers observed a white Honda Civic at the 23 mile marker south bound on I-95 speeding and officers attempted to conduct a traffic stop on the vehicle for the violation. The vehicle fled the scene in an attempt to elude officers. The Jasper County Sheriff's Office took over the pursuit and the vehicle ended up in the jurisdiction of Hardeeville. Hardeeville Police Department was bale to use a tire deflation on the vehicle and the vehicle eventually stopped in Hardeeville. The driver of the vehicle, Toni Echevarria, was arrested for failure to stop for blue lights and fugitive from justice.

June 13

3:55 a.m. A blue van was reported as driving recklessly at the 15 mile marker north bound on I-95.

7:01 a.m. Officers responded to the 17 mile marker north bound on I-95 for a vehicle collision involving one vehicle. No injuries were reported.

9:38 a.m. Officers responded to Kingdom Touch Ministries, 6714 Tillman Road, for an activated alarm.

2:05 p.m. A blue Ford F-150 was reported as driving recklessly at the 26 mile marker south bound on I-95.

3:19 p.m. Officers responded to Advance Auto Parts, 10424 South Jacob Smart Boulevard, for a civil matter.

A semi truck was reported as driving recklessly at the 28 mile marker south bound on I-95.

10:12 p.m. Officers stopped a black Ram truck on I-95 at the 20 mile marker north bound on I-95 for a speeding violation. Officers detected the odor of marijuana emitting from the vehicle and conducted a probable cause search. Officers located a white powdery substance that field tested positive for cocaine during the search. A passenger in the vehicle, Abed-Hakam Abed, was arrested and transported to the Jasper County Detention Center.

June 12

1:15 a.m. Officers responded to the Morris Center, 10782 South Jacob Smart Boulevard, for an activated alarm.

12:24 p.m. Officers responded to the 18 mile marker south bound on I-95 for a vehicle collision involving one vehicle. No injuries were reported.

1:26 p.m. Officers responded to Sailfish Circle in reference to a stolen vehicle license.

3:12 p.m. Officers responded to Floyd Circle in reference to two dogs running at large.

3:27 p.m. Officers responded to East Main Street in reference to a civil matter.

A grey Toyota Tacoma was reported as driving recklessly on Old House Road.

8:27 p.m. Officers responded to South Jacob Smart Boulevard for a tree in the roadway.

June 11

1:09 a.m. Officers responded to the SureStay Hotel, 511 James L. Taylor Drive, for a domestic dispute.

2:22 p.m. A tan Chevrolet Silverado was reported as driving recklessly at the 16 mile marker north bound on I-95.

11:38 p.m. Officers responded to Captain Bill Road for a suspicious vehicle.

June 10

12:40 a.m. Officers responded to Logan Lane Apartments, 544 South Logan Street, for a report of loud noises in the parking lot.

3:33 a.m. Officers responded to Bay Tree Apartments, 107 1st Avenue, for a report of an intoxicated male subject in the parking lot. When officers arrived they located Damien Busby and he was under the influence. Busby was arrested for disorderly conduct and transported to the Jasper County Detention Center.

7:00 a.m. Officers responded to a residence on Glover Road for an activated alarm.

3:51 a.m. Officers responded to the 18 mile marker south bound on I-95 for a motorist assist.

7:54 p.m. A black Nissan Maxima was reported as driving recklessly at the 18 mile marker south bound on I-95.

June 9

4:09 a.m. Officers responded to East Main Street for a motorist assist.

4:35 a.m. Officers responded to the BP Station, 10728 South Jacob Smart Boulevard, for an activated alarm.

8:12 a.m. Officers responded to Old House Road for a motorist assist.

11:19 a.m. Officers responded to East Adams Street for a report of a stray cat.

1:56 p.m. Officers responded to a residence on West Main Street for an activated alarm.

June 8

7:36 a.m. Officers responded to a residence on East Woodlawn Street for a report of noises outside of the residence.

10:18 a.m. Officers responded to Harvey's, 8205 East Main Street, for a report of a lost wallet.

10:26 a.m. Officers responded to Grayco, 119 Industrial Park Road, for a shoplifting incident. The suspect returned to the store and paid for the item. The business declined prosecution.

11:23 a.m. Officers responded to North Railroad Avenue for a report of a suspicious vehicle.

1:12 p.m. Officers responded to Heron Crossing Apartments, 72 Heron Crossing Road, for a report of verbal threats.

Officers responded to North Green Street for a report of two people fighting near the roadway. The subjects were located and it was determined the dispute was verbal only.

11:04 p.m. Officers observed a black Toyota Tundra at the 22 mile marker north bound with a light violation. A traffic stop was initiated and officers immediately detected the odor of marijuana emitting from the vehicle. A probable cause search was conducted and marijuana and a unlawful handgun was located. The driver of the vehicle, Jose Adame, was arrested for no driver's license, simple possession of marijuana and unlawful carry of a handgun. Adame was transported to the Jasper County Detention Center. A wrecker from rotation towed Adame's vehicle to their facility.

June 7

2:46 a.m. Officers responded to East Main Street for a 911 hang up call.

8:28 a.m. A grey Nissan Altima was reported as driving recklessly at the 28 mile marker south bound on I-95.

3:32 p.m. A red Toyota truck was reported as driving recklessly at the 8 mile marker north bound on I-95.

June 5

12:59 a.m. Officers responded to Oyo Hotel, 8260 East Main Street to assist EMS with a patient transport.

12:09 p.m. Officers responded to the intersection of North Green Street and North Jacob Smart Boulevard for a vehicle collision involving two vehicles. No injuries were reported.

5:01 p.m. Officers responded to North Logan Street for a report of three suspicious male subjects.

5:03 p.m. Officers responded to a residence on Bees Creek Road for an activated alarm.

8:43 p.m. Officers responded to Kingdom Touch Ministries, 6714 Tillman Road, for an activated alarm.

12:18 p.m. Officers responded to a residence on Sail Fish Circle for a domestic dispute.

6:19 a.m. Officers responded to the Jasper County Board of Disabilities, 1512 Grays Highway, for an activated alarm.

6:21 a.m. Officers responded to the 18 mile marker south bound on I-95 for a vehicle collision involving one vehicle. One person was pronounced deceased at the scene and three subjects were transported to a local hospital.

10:01 a.m. Officers responded to the Morris Center, 10782 South Jacob Smart Boulevard, for a report of people trespassing on the property.

11:07 p.m. Officers responded to Oak Ridge Mobile Home Park for a report of a suspicious vehicle.

8:10 p.m. Officers responded to a residence on Red Drum Street for a larceny. The stolen item was recovered by officers and a juvenile petition has been filed against the suspect.
