July 17

8:27 a.m. Officers responded to Harvey's, 8205 East Main Street, for a report of a male subject taking an electric shopping cart. Officers located the subject, Ronald Palmer, and the electric shopping cart on James L. Taylor Drive. Palmer was arrested for larceny and trespassing after notice. Palmer was transported to the Jasper County Detention Center.

10:54 a.m. An orange Jeep was reported as driving recklessly at the 22 mile marker north bound on I-95.

12:14 p.m. Officers responded to a residence on Oak Ridge North in reference to a male subject looking through a bedroom window and exposing himself. Dexter Gray was located and arrested for indecent exposure. Gray was transported to the Jasper County Detention Center.

2:06 p.m. A Coachman motor home was reported as driving recklessly at the 14 mile marker north bound on I-95.

4:42 p.m. Officers conducted a welfare check on a male subject at Turtle Park, 7675 West Main Street.

6:28 p.m. A red semi truck was reported as driving recklessly at the 12 mile marker north bound on I-95.

July 16

3:43 a.m. A sliver Acura was reported as driving recklessly at the 28 mile marker south bound on I-95.

6:29 a.m. A FedEx truck was reported as driving recklessly at the 33 mile marker south bound on I-95.

6:54 a.m. Officers responded to the intersection of Bees Creek Road and Grahamville Road for a vehicle collision involving two people. One person was transported by EMS.

10:38 a.m. Officers responded to J&M, 159 South Green Street, for a dispute between an employee and a customer.

1:27 p.m. Officers responded to a residence on Oak Ridge North for a 911 hang up call.

7:29 p.m. Officers responded to the 23 mile marker north bound on I-95 for a motorist assist.

9:00 p.m. Officers met with deputies from the Jasper County Sheriff's Office on Fordville Road where they had Fabian Leonard Habersham detained. Habersham as wanted by the Ridgeland Police Department on an outstanding arrest warrant for assault and battery, 3rd degree. Habersham was arrested and transported to the Jasper County Detention Center.

July 15

2:19 a.m. A grey Toyota Corolla was reported as driving recklessly at the 25 mile marker south bound on I-95.

2:27 a.m. Officers responded to Grays Highway for a motorist assist.

7:13 a.m. Officers responded to the BP Station, 80 Blue Heron Drive, for a suspicious male in the parking lot.

8:32 a.m. Officers responded to Bay Tree Apartments, 107 1st Avenue, for a report of harassment.

11:56 a.m. Officers responded to the Health Department, 651 Grays Highway, for a report of harassment.

1:54 p.m. Officers responded to Waffle House, 8185 East Main Street, to conduct a welfare check on a male subject in the parking lot.

5:20 p.m. Officers responded to Tillman Road for a vehicle collision involving two vehicles. No injuries were reported.

7:35 a.m. Officers responded to East Main Street for a report of a suspicious male.

8:31 a.m. Officers responded to Grays Highway for a report of a suspicious male.

July 14

6:57 a.m. Officers responded to the Citgo Station, 107 Sycamore Drive, for an activated alarm.

7:21 a.m. Officers responded to Devon Wood Apartments, 137 Captain Bill Road, for a welfare check.

11:11 a.m. Officers responded to Badcock Furniture, 10213 South Jacob Smart Boulevard, for an activated alarm.

11:50 a.m. Officers responded to the Quality Inn, 221 James L. Taylor Drive, for a report of a suspicious vehicle.

4:32 p.m. Officers responded to the 20 mile marker south bound on I-95 for a vehicle collision involving two vehicles. No injuries were reported.

8:33 p.m. Officers responded to South Jacob Smart Boulevard for an activated alarm.

9:05 p.m. Officers responded to Bees Creek Plantation for a report of loud noises.

10:27 p.m. Officers responded to Ridgeland Tire, 11263 North Jacob Smart Boulevard, for an activated alarm.

July 13

12:01 a.m. A white semi truck was reported as driving recklessly at the 14 mile marker north bound on I-95.

11:11 a.m. Officers responded to the 21 mile marker north bound on I-95 for a motorist assist.

12:39 p.m. Officers responded to Captain Bill Road for a suspicious vehicle.

2:15 p.m. Officers responded to the BP Station, 11122 North Jacob Smart Boulevard, for a report of a male loitering in the parking lot.

3:14 p.m. Officers responded to the 22 mile marker north bound on I-95 for a motorist assist.

3:43 p.m. Officers responded to the 22 mile marker north bound on I-95 for a vehicle collision involving two vehicles. One person was transported by EMS to a local hospital.

4:05 p.m. Officers responded to the Quality Inn, 221 James L. Taylor Drive, for a suspicious vehicle.

5:15 p.m. Officers observed a red Jaguar make several lane violations and conducted a traffic stop. The vehicle stopped at the BP Station on South Jacob Smart Boulevard. The driver of the vehicle, Brian Mervin, was arrested for driving under the influence, driving under suspension and operating an uninsured vehicle. Mervin was transported to the Jasper County Detention Center. A wrecker from rotation towed the vehicle to their facility.

5:31 p.m. Officers spoke with a case worker from MUSC in reference to a possible child abuse incident. The incident remains under further investigation.

9:04 p.m. Officers responded to the BP Station, 10728 South Jacob Smart Boulevard, for a report of a male subject panhandling in the parking lot.

9:13 p.m. A brown dump truck was reported as driving recklessly at the 11 mile marker north bound on I-95.

11:51 p.m. Officers responded to Bay Tree Apartments, 107 1st Avenue, for a report of a dog running at large.

11:53 p.m. Officers observed a dark colored GMC truck make numerous lane violations on Smith's Crossing Road. Officers conducted a traffic stop and discovered that the driver of the vehicle, Jose Romero, was under the influence. Romero was arrested for driving under the influence, no driver's license and a child restraint violation. Romero was transported to the Jasper County Detention Center.

July 12

12:28 a.m. Officers responded to North Green Street for a suspicious vehicle.

6:34 a.m. Officers responded to Three Tee Circle for a vehicle collision involving one vehicle. No injuries were reported.

7:04 a.m. Officers responded to a residence on Wise Street for an activated alarm.

7:12 a.m. Officers responded to Ridgeland Baptist Church, 1448 Grays Highway, for an activated alarm.

7:27 a.m. Officers responded to a residence on Brandon Cove for a reported vehicle break-in. The incident remains under further investigation.

7:39 a.m. Officers assisted EMS on North Green Street for a patient transport.

8:32 a.m. Officers responded to the BP Station, 11122 North Jacob Smart Boulevard, for a report of people loitering in the parking lot.

10:20 a.m. Officers responded to the 21 mile marker north bound on I-95 for a pedestrian walking on the interstate.

11:10 a.m. Officers responded to the Quality Inn, 221 James L. Taylor Drive, for a male and female subject arguing in the parking lot.

11:19 a.m. Officers responded to a residence on North Green Street for a follow up on a previous case. While at the residence, James Matthew Dara was found to be in possession of suspected heroin. Dara was arrested and transported to the Jasper County Detention Center.

1:23 p.m. Officers observed a gold Cadillac making numerous lane violations at the 18 mile marker north bound on I-95. A traffic stop was conducted and it was determined that the driver of the vehicle, Melanie Lease, was under the influence of alcohol. Lease was arrested for driving under the influence and open container. Lease was transported to the Jasper County Detention Center. Lease's vehicle was towed by a wrecker from rotation to their facility.

1:59 p.m. Officers responded to the intersection of North Jacob Smart Boulevard and Captain Bill Road for vehicle collision involving two vehicles. No injuries were reported.

4:06 p.m. Officers responded to the Citgo Station, 107 Sycamore Drive, for a report of a male subject loitering on the property.

6:29 p.m. Officers responded to Turpin Park, 901 North Logan Street, for a report of a dog running at large.

July 11

8:01 a.m. A white Nissan Altima was reported as driving recklessly at the 14 mile marker north bound on I-95.

8:26 a.m. A white KIA was reported as driving recklessly at the 28 mile marker south bound on I-95.

3:41 p.m. Officers responded to Carter's Mill Estates for a report of a male subject riding a dirt bike on the roadway.

4:10 p.m. Officers responded to a residence on Dolphin Drive in reference to a stolen utility trailer. The incident remains under further investigation.

5:38 p.m. Officers responded to the 22 mile marker south bound on I-95 for a motorist assist.

7:35 p.m. Officers responded to Ridgeland Baptist Church, 1448 Grays Highway, for an activated alarm.

8:16 p.m. Officers responded to Bay Tree Apartments, 107 1st Avenue, for a report of threats by a female. The incident remains under further investigation.

July 10

1:39 a.m. Officers responded to Grahamville Road for a report of shots being fired in the area.

4:07 a.m. Officers responded to Coosaw Scenic for a vehicle collision involving one vehicle. No injuries were reported.

5:55 a.m. Officers responded to the BP Station, 80 Blue Heron Drive, for a vehicle collision in the parking lot. No injuries were reported.

8:19 a.m. Officers responded to a residence on East Wilson Street for a dispute between family members.

9:56 a.m. A white Toyota Camry was reported as driving recklessly at the 29 mile marker south bound on I-95.

12:21 p.m. Officers responded to a residence on Oak Ridge North for a 911 hang up call.

1:01 p.m. Officers responded to the 22 mile marker north bound on I-95 for a vehicle collision involving one vehicle. No injuries were reported.

2:59 p.m. Officers responded to the parking lot of the Marathon Station, 8548 Grahamville Road, for a vehicle collision. No injuries were reported.

5:04 p.m. Officers responded to Bay Tree Apartments, 107 1st Avenue, for a report of two suspicious males.

9:38 p.m. Officers responded to the 20 mile marker south bound on I-95 for a motorist assist.

July 9

7:03 a.m. Officers responded to Harvey's, 8205 East Main Street, for a male subject sleeping in the parking lot.

10:41 a.m. Officers responded to a residence on East Wilson Street for a verbal argument among family members.

12:14 p.m. Officers responded to the Piggly Wiggly, 10847 North Jacob Smart Boulevard, for a report of a male subject trespassing on the property. When officers arrived they observed Ronald Palmer on the property. Palmer was previously placed on trespass notice by officers at the request of the business. Palmer was arrested for trespassing after notice and transported to the Jasper County Detention Center.

1:37 p.m. Officers responded to Piggly Wiggly parking lot, 10847 North Jacob Smart Boulevard, for a vehicle collision involving two vehicles. No injuries were reported.

2:42 p.m. Officers responded to the Boy's and Girl' Club, 456 Grays Highway, for an activated alarm.

5:51 p.m. Officers responded to the Sunoco Station, 11965 North Jacob Smart Boulevard, for an argument involving several people in the parking lot. One of the people involved, Keon Spann, had an outstanding warrant with the Ridgeland Police Department for petit larceny. Spann was arrested and transported to the Jasper County Detention Center.

8:04 p.m. Officers responded to Wendy's, 8480 Grahamville Road, for a suspicious male subject.

8:58 p.m. Officers responded to the Travel Lodge, 8216 East Main Street, for a civil dispute between tenants.

July 8

3:00 a.m. Officers responded to Heron Crossing Apartments, 72 Heron Crossing Road, for a report of a vehicle break-in. The incident remains under further investigation.

8:26 a.m. Officers responded to a residence on East Wilson Street for a dispute between family members.

9:05 a.m. Officers responded to Carolina Lodge, 8260 East Main Street, for a civil dispute involving carpentry tools.

9:27 a.m. Officers responded to Captain Bill Road for a report of two dogs running at large.

10:07 a.m. Officers met with a complainant at the Ridgeland Police Department in reference to a lost wallet. The incident was reported as occurring at a local gas station.

12:04 p.m. Officers responded to Heron Crossing Apartments, 72 Heron Crossing Road, for a report of a male subject trespassing.

2:25 p.m. Officers responded to the intersection of West Main Street and North Green Street for a report of a suspicious male.

5:11 p.m. Officers responded to Tarboro Road for a vehicle collision involving one vehicle. No injuries were reported.

6:08 p.m. Officers responded to a residence on North Green Street for a report of harassment by a female subject.

6:45 p.m. Officers responded to Harvey's, 8205 East Main Street, for a report of a male subject panhandling in the parking lot.

8:41 p.m. A motorcycle was reported as driving recklessly on Tarboro Road.

8:50 p.m. Officers assisted the South Carolina Highway Patrol on a traffic stop at the 17 mile marker south bound on I-95.

1:55 p.m. Officers assisted EMS with a patient transport at the 21 mile marker north bound on I-95.

2:41 p.m. Officers responded to the BP Station, 11122 North Jacob Smart Boulevard, for a report of a male subject asking customers for money.

4:59 p.m. Officers responded to the BP Station, 80 Blue Heron Drive, for a report of an unwanted female on the property. The female subject was gone when officers arrived.

10:28 a.m. Officers responded to Coastal Carolina Hospital to take a patient for a mental evaluation in Walterboro, SC.

10:55 a.m. A black semi truck was reported as driving recklessly at the 26 mile marker south bound on I-95.

10:58 a.m. Officers responded to Wiley Street for downed service lines. The lines were repaired and the roadway was reopened.

12:56 p.m. A small grey car was reported as driving recklessly at the 27 mile marker south bound on I-95.

1:30 p.m. Officers responded to a residence on Shade Tree Street for a welfare check on a male resident.

2:43 p.m. Officers responded to Shade Tree Street for a report of a child riding a dirt bike on the roadway.

7:08 p.m. Officers assisted the South Carolina Highway Patrol on a traffic stop at the intersection of South Jacob Smart Boulevard and Smith's Crossing.

7:30 p.m. Officers responded to the 19 mile marker south bound on I-95 for a motorist assist.

7:59 p.m. Officers responded to the Carolina Lodge, 8260 East Main Street, for a cat stuck in a metal container. The cat was later safely removed.

8:59 p.m. Officers responded to a residence on East Adams Street for a dispute between roommates.

10:31 p.m. Officers responded to Enmarket, 8250 East Main Street, where Sandeara Warren was arrested for breach of trust. The arrest was a result of an investigation at the request of Enmarket for employee theft. Warren was transported to the Jasper County Detention Center.

July 1

1:25 a.m. Officers responded to Grays Highway for a report of tree debris in the roadway. SCDOT removed the debris.

9:13 a.m. Officers responded to a residence on North Green Street for a report of an assault and battery.

9:20 a.m. Officers assisted the Jasper County Sheriff's Office on a traffic stop on Capt. Bill Road.

11:14 a.m. Officers assisted the Jasper County Sheriff's Office on a traffic stop on Henry Lawton Road.

11:42 a.m. A white Chevrolet Suburban was reported as driving recklessly at the 33 mile marker south bound on I-95.

12:06 p.m. Officers responded to Enmarket, 8250 East Main Street, for a report of an employee theft. The incident is under further investigation.

12:50 p.m. A red Subaru was reported as driving recklessly at the 28 mile marker south bound on I-95.

1:16 p.m. Officers responded to the parking lot of McDonald's, 8548 Grahamville Road, for a vehicle collision involving two vehicles. No injuries were reported.

4:12 p.m. A white semi truck was reported as driving recklessly at the 15 mile marker north bound on I-95.

4:55 p.m. Officers responded to a residence on Floyd Street for a report of a female subject trespassing on the property.
