12:11 p.m. Officers responded to a residence on Oak Ridge North for a pickup order for a mental evaluation. The subject was transported to Coastal Carolina. At 5:06 p.m. the subject was transported to Palmetto Lowcountry Behavioral.

5:13 p.m. Officers responded to Grayco, 119 Industrial Park Road, for an activated alarm.

6:46 p.m. A gray Chevrolet truck was reported as driving recklessly at the 20 mile marker north bound on I-95.

9:49 p.m. A black Ford sedan was reported as driving recklessly at the 21 mile marker south bound on I-95.

11:06 p.m. Officers responded to Green Street for a report of people arguing in the roadway.

July 30

12:56 a.m. Officers responded to 1st Avenue for a civil complaint in reference to the purchase of a vehicle.

8:04 a.m. Officers responded to Shine Town, 857 James L. Taylor Drive, for a burglary. The incident remains under further investigation.

8:37 a.m. Officers met with Jaquade Shamarrow Outten at the Ridgeland Police Department in reference to him turning himself in on outstanding warrants. Outten was arrested for pointing and presenting firearms at a person and possession of a firearm by a person convicted of a violent felony. Outten was transported to the Jasper County Detention Center.

9:44 a.m. A black Dodge Charger was reported as driving recklessly at the 27 mile marker south bound on I-95.

11:54 a.m. Officers responded to a residence on East Wilson Street for a report of vandalism on a vehicle. The incident remains under further investigation.

2:37 p.m. Officers assisted in the removal of a tree in the roadway at the intersection of Miller Street and 3rd Avenue.

2:29 a.m. Officers responded to the Quality Inn, 221 James L. Taylor Drive, for a report of suspicious vehicles in the parking lot.

1:24 p.m. Officers responded to the 22 mile marker north bound on I-95 for a vehicle collision involving one vehicle. No injuries were reported.

10:44 a.m. Officers responded to Logan Lane Apartments, 544 South Logan Street, for a report of a stolen telephone. The telephone was later returned and the victim declined to press charges.

1:27 p.m. Officers responded to Carolina Lodge, 8260 East Main Street, for a report of a subject refusing to leave their room after check-out time.

2:20 p.m. Officers responded to East Wilson Street for a report of a suspicious person in the roadway.

3:09 p.m. Officers responded to Kingdom Touch Ministries, 6714 Tillman Road, for an activated alarm.

5:19 p.m. Officers responded to Carter's Mill Estates for a report of a subject discharging a firearm at another subject. After an investigation, officers were able to determine a suspect and that suspect was located at his residence. The suspect, a male juvenile, was transported to the Department of Juvenile Justice in Columbia. The incident remains under further investigation.

5:43 p.m. Officers responded to West Main Street for a report of a suspicious vehicle.

9:42 p.m. A black Chevrolet truck was reported as driving recklessly at the 8 mile marker north bound on I-95.

5:25 a.m. Officers responded to Pizza Bella, 8196 East Main Street, for an activated alarm.

12:19 p.m. Officers responded to the Boat and RV Store, 401 Sycamore Drive, for a report of a female subject refusing to leave the property.

12:55 p.m. Officers responded to the Boy's and Girl's Club, 456 Grays Highway, for an activated alarm.

3:55 p.m. Officers responded to Logan Lane Apartments, 544 South Logan Street, for a report of a female trespassing in the parking lot.

7:17 p.m. Officers responded to Bay Tree Apartments, 107 1st Avenue, for a report of a male subject trespassing in the parking lot.

7:47 p.m. Officers responded to Piggly Wiggly, 10847 North Jacob Smart Boulevard, for a report of a female that the business wished to have placed on trespass notice. When officers arrived they observed Eloise Anderson throw a can at a male subject. The male subject was bleeding from his head, chest and his right hand. After an investigation, officers were able to determine that Anderson cut the male subject with a knife. Anderson was arrested and charged with assault and battery, second degree, disorderly conduct and damage to property.

July 25

12:12 a.m. A blue semi truck pulling a silver trailer was reported as driving recklessly at the 27 mile marker south bound on I-95.

5:35 a.m. Officers responded to a residence on 1st Avenue for a report of a male subject yelling at other residents.

6:21 a.m. Officers responded to Quality Inn, 221 James L. Taylor Drive, for a report of a suspicious vehicle.

10:20 a.m. Officers met with a complainant at the Ridgeland Police department in reference to a larceny of tools. The complainant had a Milwaukee band saw and a Hydrostatic test pump stolen from the bed of his truck while staying at the Quality Inn, 221 James Taylor drive.

1:44 a.n. Officers responded to East Main street for a complaint of a subject knocking on doors. The subject was asked to refrain from that activity.

8:46 a.m. A report of extortion was made at the Ridgeland Police department, it was discovered that the crime occurred in another agencies jurisdiction. The complainant was directed to the proper jurisdictional authorities.

2:42 p.m. Officers responded to a single vehicle collision on Great Swamp road. The collision occurred outside of the Ridgeland Police department's jurisdiction, the South Carolina Highway Patrol were notified.

6:00 a.m. An Officer made a civilian contact with a subject on foot on Green street, the subject was arrested for an outstanding warrant for trespassing.

7:32 a.m Officers responded to Interstate 95, between the 21 mm and the and the 22 mm north bound for a single vehicle collision. A motorcycle collided with a guard rail the operator was flown by life star to Savannah memorial.

8:47 a.m. Officers responded to the Plantation In, 11433 North Jacob Smart Boulevard for a damage to property.

9:58 a.m. Officers responded to 5th avenue in reference to a breach of trust automobile, the owner retrieved the vehicle and declined to press charges.

12:51 p.m. Officers responded to the 23 mile marker north bound on I-95 for a report of a suspicious vehicle parked on the shoulder of the roadway.

12:37 p.m. Officers assisted the Jasper County Sheriff's Office with an arrest stemming from a traffic stop on Henry Lawton road.

1:42 p.m. Officers served a warrant at the Jasper County Detention center on a subject that was incarcerated on other charges.

6:32 a.m. Officers assisted the Jasper County Sheriff's Office with a larceny incident on Grays Highway.

9:59 a.m. Officers responded to a trespassing report of a male at a residence on East Adams Street.

2:44 p.m Officers responded to the Jasper Animal Rescue Mission, 1352 Carters Mill road for a male subject causing a disturbance.

3:31 p.m. Officers responded to the 21 mile marker north bound on Interstate 95 for a motorist assist.

4:27 p.m. Officers responded to the Colleton County Detention center and took custody of Bradley Wall for an outstanding warrant. Wall was then transported to the Jasper County Detention center.

12:48 a.m. Officers responded to the Gulf Station, 8250 East Main Street, for a disturbance in the parking lot.

2:26 a.m. Officers responded to the Carolina Lodge, 8260 East Main Street, for a report of a female trespassing on the property. When officers arrived they located Elouise Anderson. A trespass notice was issued previously on Anderson and she was arrested for trespassing after notice. Anderson was transported to the Jasper County Detention Center.

4:15 a.m. Officers responded to East Main Street for a 911 hang up call.

1:32 p.m. Officers met with a complainant at the Ridgeland Police Department in reference to damage her vehicle received the previous day in a parking lot.

July 9

1:57 a.m. Officers responded to North Green Street for a report of two suspicious people in the roadway.

10:13 a.m. Officers responded to a construction site on Grays Highway for a report of stolen copper tubing. This incident is under further investigation.

11:09 a.m. A FedEx truck was reported as driving recklessly at the 30 mile marker south bound on I-95.

4:45 p.m. A silver Nissan Maxima was reported as driving recklessly on Cato Bay Road as it traveled towards Ridgeland.

5:15 p.m. Officers responded to the KFC, 8146 East Main Street, for a report of counterfeit money that was used to purchase food items. This incident remains under further investigation.

8:47 p.m. Officers responded to Logan Lane Apartments for a report of a group of suspicious people in the parking lot.

9:10 p.m. A white Infinity sedan was observed making an improper turn on North Jacob Smart Boulevard by an officer. A traffic stop was conducted and the driver, Domingo Ventura-Santos, did not have a valid driver's license. Ventura-Santos was arrested and transported to the Jasper County Detention Center. The vehicle was turned over to a licensed passenger in the vehicle.

9:19 p.m. Officers met with Deputies of the Jasper County Sheriff's Office and took custody of Shantireya Nylashu Monique Rivers. Rivers had an outstanding warrant for malicious injury to personal property from an incident on February 10, 2018.

July 8

1:08 a.m. Officers responded to the 24 mile marker south bound for a motorist assist.

4:08 a.m. While conducting property checks, officers located an unlocked door at Main Street BBQ, 8084 East Main Street. A key-holder arrived a short time later and secured the door.

11:02 a.m. Officers responded to Harvey's Grocery Store for a report of a trespassing. Michael Byrd was observed inside the store by a manger. Byrd was placed on trespass notice after a shoplifting incident in April 2018. A warrant affidavit has been submitted charging Byrd with trespassing after notice.

11:23 a.m. Officers responded to the parking lot of McDonald's, 8548 Grahamville Road, for a report of people arguing.

12:47 p.m. Officers responded to the 17 mile marker south bound on I-95 for a vehicle collision involving two vehicles. No injuries were reported.

1:48 p.m. A black Hyundai was reported as driving recklessly at the 24 mile marker south bound in I-95.

2:37 p.m. Officers responded to Piggly Wiggly, 10847 North Jacob Smart Boulevard, for a report of a shoplifting. Once on scene, officers were able to determine that Larry Howard placed a bottle of almond extract in his pants pocket with the intention of depriving the business of retail value. Howard was arrested for shoplifting and transported to the Jasper County Detention Center.

7:22 p.m. Officers responded to Bay Tree Apartments, 107 1st Avenue, for a report of a disturbance in the parking lot.

9:30 p.m. Officers met with a complainant at Logan Lane Apartments in reference to them being called names by another person while at the Gulf Station.

July 7

12:36 a.m. A black Jeep SUV was reported as driving recklessly at the 11 mile marker north bound on I-95.

1:41 a.m. While conducting property checks, officers discovered an open door on a moving van parked in the parking lot of the Quality Inn, 221 James L. Taylor Drive. The driver of the vehicle was located and he secured the vehicle.

2:54 a.m. A white Ford truck was reported as driving recklessly at the 30 mile marker south bound on I-95.

3:16 a.m. Officers responded to Bay Tree Apartments, 107 1st Avenue, for a 911 hang up call.

3:41 a.m. A black VW Passat was reported as driving recklessly at the 30 mile marker south bound on I-95.

10:43 a.m. Officers responded to Bay Tree Apartments, 107 1st Avenue, for a 911 hang up call.

12:07 p.m. Officers responded to the 23 mile marker north bound on I-95 for a vehicle collision involving two vehicles. No injuries were reported.

1:55 p.m. Officers responded to Pizza Bella, 8196 East Main Street, for a report of an assault and battery between co-workers. Once on scene, officers were able to determine that Nancy Hamilton grabbed another female by the neck and threw her down. Hamilton was arrested for assault and battery 3rd degree and transported to the Jasper County Detention Center.

3:26 p.m. Officers responded to Old South Exterminators, 1892 Malphrus Road, for an activated alarm.

3:35 p.m. Officers responded to a residence on Gray's Highway for an activated alarm.

3:58 p.m. Officers responded to the 25 mile marker north bound on I-95 for a motorist assist.

6:31 p.m. Officers responded to McDonald's, 8548 Grahamville Road, for a vehicle fire.

6:55 p.m. Officers responded to the 24 mile marker north bound on I-95 for a motorist assist.

7:21 p.m. A blue semi pulling a car hauler trailer was reported as driving recklessly at the 11 mile marker north bound on I-95.

8:05 p.m. Officers responded to the intersection of Sister's Ferry Road and McCormack Avenue for a tree in the roadway.

2:48 a.m. Officers responded to the BP Station, 80 Blue Heron Drive, for a report of a female trespassing. At the request of management, the female was placed on trespass notice.

12:15 p.m. Officers responded to Wood Ridge Apartments, 414 South Logan Street, for a report of a female trespassing. The female was gone when officers arrived.

1:01 p.m. Officers responded to the BP Station, 80 Blue Heron Drive, for a small child locked inside of a vehicle.

1:53 p.m. Officers responded to the Cracked Egg, 10735 South Jacob Smart Boulevard, for a report of a female loitering on the property. The female was gone when officers arrived.

July 4

5:57 a.m. Officers responded to the 17 mile marker south bound on I-95 for a welfare check on a female driver who pulled over to the shoulder of the roadway.

9:15 a.m. Officers responded to Aussie Auto Body, 1010 West Adams Street, for an activated alarm.

12:10 p.m. Officers responded to South State Bank, 10671 South Jacob Smart Boulevard, for an activated alarm.

3:59 p.m. Officers responded to a residence on Shade Tree Street for a domestic dispute.

5:03 p.m. A Ryder truck was reported as driving recklessly at the 31 mile marker south bound on I-95.

7:34 p.m. A silver Chevrolet Tahoe was stopped for a speeding violation at the 21 mile marker south bound on I-95. The driver of the vehicle, Samuel Cedric Harrison, did not have a valid driver's license. Harrison was arrested for the violations and transported to the Jasper County Detention Center. The vehicle was released to a passenger that had a valid driver's license.

9:25 p.m. Officers responded to Shade Tree Street for a report of fireworks being discharged too close to a residence.

July 3

12:55 a.m. Officers responded to the Gulf Station, 8250 East Main Street, for a report of a female chasing another female in the parking lot.

5:51 a.m. A blue semi pulling a white trailer was reported as driving recklessly at the 11 mile marker north bound on I-95.

4:13 p.m. Officers responded to Eleanor Avenue for a report of a suspicious person.

5:13 p.m. Officers responded to Bobop's, 8548 Grahamville Road, for a report of a person taking another persons parking spot.

6:17 p.m. Officers responded to Queen Nails, 8120 East Main Street, for a civil matter involving a customer.

6:21 p.m. A black Nissan Rogue was reported as driving recklessly at the 28 mile marker south bound on I-95.

7:02 p.m. Officers responded to Exit 22 south bound on I-95 for a tire in the roadway.

8:42 p.m. Officers responded to the 24 mile marker south bound on I-95 for a motorist assist.

9:36 p.m. A black Mercedes was reported as driving recklessly at the 22 mile marker south bound on I-95.

3:39 a.m. Officers responded to Travel Lodge, 8216 East Main Street, for a domestic dispute between a male and female.

9:06 a.m. Officers responded to the Citgo Station, 107 Sycamore Drive, for a vehicle collision involving two vehicles. No injuries were reported.

10:46 a.m. Officers met with a complainant at the Ridgeland Police Department in reference to an assault that occurred over the weekend at his residence on 1st Avenue. A warrant affidavit has been submitted charging Eric Henderson with assault and battery 3rd degree.

1:18 p.m. Officers responded to Taylor Mill Road for a tree limb in the roadway. Officers removed the debris.

7:09 p.m. Officers responded to Ridgeland Tire and Auto, 11263 North Jacob Smart Boulevard, for a report of a dog running at large on the property.

7:24 p.m. A truck with a blue tarp was reported as driving recklessly at the 22 mile marker south bound on I-95.

7:29 p.m. A maroon Dodge truck was reported as driving recklessly on Tarboro Road.

July 1

12:22 a.m. A white Acura sedan was stopped for a speeding violation at he 19 mile marker north bound on I-95. The driver of the vehicle, Amarildo M. DePaula, was arrested for sppeding and no driver's license. DePaula was transported to the Jasper County Detention Center. Depaula's vehicle towed by a wrecker from rotation.

4:05 a.m. Officers assisted the Jasper County Sheriff's Office at Club Pluto on South Jacob Smart Boulevard in reference to a fight in progress.

11:07 a.m. A green truck was reported as driving recklessly at the 19 mile marker north bound on I-95.

12:07 p.m. Officers responded to South Jacob Smart Boulevard for an activated alarm.

12:13 p.m. Officers responded to the parking lot of the Jasper County Detention Center for a vehicle collision involving two vehicles. No injuries were reported.

12:34 p.m. Officers responded to North Jacob Smart Boulevard for a vehicle collision involving two vehicles. No injuries were reported.

12;38 p.m. Officers responded to East Main Street for a vehicle collision involving two vehicles. No injuries were reported.

3:10 p.m. Officers responded to Bay Tree Apartments, 107 1st Avenue, for a report of a male subject trespassing.

8:27 p.m. Officers responded to the parking lot of Harvey's, 8205 East Main Street, for a 911 hang up call.

8:41 p.m. The Ridgeland Police Department and the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division responded to the wooded area behind Forrest Motel, 10504 South Jacob Smart Boulevard, for a body being found. The body is a female and DNA results are pending for a positive identification. An autopsy is scheduled for July 3, 2018, at MUSC.
