The vehicle eventually stopped at the 18 mil marker south bound. The driver of the vehicle, Clifton Ackerman, was arrested for possession of a stolen vehicle, failure to stop for a blue light and no driver's license. Ackerman was transported to the Jasper County Detention Center.

The driver of the vehicle, Joshua West McPherson, had a suspended driver's license, provided false information and was in possession of a quantity of marijuana. McPherson was arrested for speeding, driving under suspension, giving false information and possession of marijuana. McPherson was transported to the Jasper County Detention Center.
