February 28

12:21 A.M. Officers received an alert from On-Star in reference to a motor vehicle collision in the area of North Jacob Smart Blvd and Main St. Officers, along with the Ridgeland Fire Department, canvassed the area however had negative contact with any vehicles involved in a collision.

1:18 A.M. Officers responded to the 1400 block of Fordville Rd in reference to assisting the Jasper County Sheriff's Office with a shots fired call.

1:50 P.M. Officers received a report of a reckless driver travling north on Interstate 95

3:03 P.M. Officers responded to 8257 E Main St, Burger King, in reference to a verbal dispute between management and a former employee in regards to monetary matters.

3:11 P.M. Officers responded to Shadetree St in reference to a motor vehicle collision. No injuries were reported.

6:03 P.M. Officers responded to 10847 North Jacob Smart Blvd, Piggly Wiggly, in reference to a countefeit $50 bill.

6:09 P.M. Officers responded to a residence on Wilson St in reference to a white female on scene who appeared under the influence of an unknown substance. The female was at the location shouting profanites and appeared to be disoriented. Jasper County Fire Rescue arrived on scene, and after the female calmed down, was transported to Coastal Carolina Medical Center for evaluation.

6:30 P.M. Officers responded to 221 James L Taylor Dr, Quality Inn, in reference to a verbal dispute between staff and a guest. Officers arrived on scene and were informed that the guest escalated the incident physically by going behind the front desk and struck the employee in the upper right shouler area. Officers reviewed the video surveillance from the location and confirmed the account given Joseph Elliot, Weymouth Massachusetts, was subsequently arrested, transported, and booked into the Jasper County Detention Center for Asasult and Battery 3rd Degree.

9:05 A.M. Officers responded to Wilson St near the library in reference to a suspicious person walking down the sidewalk

1:53 P.M. Officers responded to 8257 E Main St, Burger King, in reference to found property. Upon arrival a back pack was found to be left behind. The back pack was turned in for safekeeping at the Ridgeland Police Department

4:41 P.M. Officers responded to Wood Duck St @ Sister's Ferry Rd in reference to a motor vehicle collision.

7:29 P.M. Officers responded to 10847 North Jacob Smart Blvd, Piggly Wiggly, in reference to receiving a counterfeit bill. The bill was collected and the matter was turned over to investigations.

8:58 P.M. Officers responded to 8176 E Main St, New Hong Kong, in reference to a civil complaint.

February 26

3:52 A.M. Officers responded to the 7800 Block of East Main St in reference to a report of gunshots being fired. Officers arrived on scene and located damage to several properties. No person(s) were injured in the incident and the matter is being investigated by investigators.

7:46 A.M. Officers received a report of debris in the roadway of Interstate 95 near the 18 south bound.

11:10 a.m. Officers responded to Tillman Road for a suspicious person.

11:28 a.m. Officers responded to Fiddler's Seafood, 7738 West Main Street, for a suspicious person.

11:37 a.m. Officers responded to the BP Station, 10728 South Jacob Smart Boulevard, for a report of a male subject panhandling. Officers observed Anthony Gibson sking for money from patrons in the parking lot. Gibson was arested for panhandling near an ATM and transported to the Jasper County Detention Center.

5:22 p.m. Officers responded to the South State Bank, 10671 South Jacob Smart Boulevard, for an activated alarm.

6:23 a.m. Officers responded to B&T's Food Fresh, 8205 East Main Street, for a shoplifting. Officers were able to identify the suspect as Darrell Grayson. A warrant affidavit has been submitted charging Grayson with shoplifting.

10:23 a.m. Officers responded to South State Bank, 10671 South Jacob Smart Boulevard, for a juvenile attempting to pass a counterfeit check.

11:47 a.m. Officers responded to Camping World, 410 Sycamore Drive, for an animal complaint.

12:04 p.m. Officers responded to Fiddler's Seafood, 7738 West Main Street, for a subject trespassing on the property.

1:01 p.m. Officers responded to East Main Street for a vehicle collision.

4:50 p.m. Officers responded to East Main Street for debris in the roadway.

4:57 p.m. Officers responded to Devonwood Apartments, 137 Captain Bill Road, for two people arguing.

6:20 a.m. Officers responded to Enmarket, 8250 East Main Street, for a shoplifting. The incident is under further investigation.

11:30 a.m. Officers responded to East Frontage Road for a civil matter.

5:15 p.m. Officers responded to an abandoned business at 11469 North Jacob Smart Boulevard for damage to the building.

6:08 p.m. Officers responded to Fiddler's Seafood, 7738 West Main Street, for a subject trespassing on the proeprty.

6:53 p.m. Officers responded to 21 Centre, 8120 East Main Street, for a subject trespassing on the property.

7:32 p.m. Officers responded to the Siesta Motel, 10530 South Jacob Smart Boulevard, for a domestic dispute and damage to property. The owner of the property declined prosecution.

9:35 p.m. Officers responded to Jasper County Detention Center, 12008 North Jacob Smart Boulevard, for damage to a jail facility. James Hamilton will be charged with damage to a jail facility.

8:05 a.m. Officers responded to the Bank of the Lowcountry, 8058 East Main Street, for an activated alarm.

9:10 a.m. Officers responed to a residence on Shadetree Street for a welfare check.

11:30 a.m. Officers responded to Baytree Apartments, 107 1st Avenue, for a suspicious vehicle.

6:52 a.m. Officers responded to the Jasper County Board of Disabilities, 1512 Grays Highway, for an activated alarm.

7:25 a.m. Officers responded to a residence on Wood Duck Street for a stolen vehicle. The incident is under further investigation.

7:46 a.m. Officers responded to D&R Auto Sales, 7622 West Main Street, for a burglary and stolen vehicles. The incident is under further investigation.

8:11 a.m. Officers responded to the Sunoco Station, 11965 North Jacob Smart Boulevard, for a subject trespassing on the property.

3:24 p.m. Officers responded to B&T's Food Fresh, 8205 East Main Street, for a shoplifting. The incident is under further investigation.

5:33 p.m. Officers responded to Plantation Inn, 11433 North Jacob Smart Boulevard, for an assault and battery. The victim declined prosecution.

6:00 p.m. Officers responded to Baytree Apartments, 107 1st Avenue, for a report of loud noises.

7:38 p.m. Officers met with deputies of the Jasper County Detention Center where they had possession of Rodney Lloyd, Jr. Lloyd was wanted by the Ridgeland Police Department for attempted murder, discharging a firearm into a dwelling and possession of a weapon during the commission of a violent crime. Lloyd was booked into the Jasper County Detention Center.

February 7

5:09 p.m. Officers responded to Old South Exterminator's, 2955 Bees Creek Road, for an activated alarm.

6:14 p.m. Officers responded to Baytree Apartments, 107 1st Avenue, to assist EMS.

9:12 p.m. Officers responded to a residence on Firefly Drive for a domestic dispute.

February 6

8:18 a.m. Officers responded to Pop's Auto Repair, 21 Getsinger Street, for damage to property.

1:19 a.m. Officers responded to a residence on 2nd Avenue for an animal complaint.

3:24 p.m. Officers responded to Dunamis Karate, 1000 West Adams Street, for vandalism to the building.

5:46 p.m. Officers responded to Family Dollar, 73 South Green Street, for a shoplifting incident.

6:26 p.m. Officers responded to Sauls Funeral Home, 310 West Adams Street, for an activated alarm.

7:12 p.m. Officers responded to Family Dollar, 73 South Green Street, for a shoplifting incident.

8:37 p.m. Officers responded to West Main Street for an animal complaint.

February 5

12:45 a.m. Officers responded to West Main Street for a vehicle collision.

12:46 a.m. Officers stopped a vehicle on East Main Street for a light violation. The driver and sole passenger of the vehicle had outstanding warrants. David Wayne Cleland, the driver, had outstanding ATF warrants and was also charged with felon in possession of a firearm. Christy L. Delaney, the oassenger, was charged with possession of cocaine base, unlawful carry of a pistol and had an outstanding warrant for shoplifting. Both subjects were transported to the Jasper County Detention Center.

4:26 a.m. Officers responded to the BP Station, 80 Blue Heron Drive, for a suspicious person.

10:00 a.m. Officers responded to Camping World, 401 Sycamore Drive, for an activated alarm.

2:00 p.m. Offices responded to James L. Taylor Drive for loud noises.

3:10 p.m. A vehicle was reported as driving recklessly at the 24 mile marker south bound on I-95.

February 4

1:06 a.m. Officers responded to Aussie Auto Body, 1010 West Adams Street, for an activated alarm.

1:26 a.m. Officers responded to O'Reilly Auto Parts, 11058 North Jacob Smart Boulevard, for an activated alarm.

2:33 a.m. Officers responded to a residence on Shadetree Street for a 911 hang up call.

11:40 a.m. Officers responded to the Quality Inn, 221 James L. Taylor Drive, for a civil matter.

12:58 p.m. Officers responded to the Preferred Pharmacy, 10911 North Jacob Smart Boulevard, for two people arguing in the parking lot. The subjects were gone when officers arrived.

1:04 p.m. Officers responded to Heron Crossing Apartments, 72 Heron Crossing Road, for a suspicious person.
