12:10 a.m. Officers responded to Devonwood Apartments, 137 Captain Bill Road, for a domestic dispute.

5:12 a.m. Officers responded to Quality Inn, 221 James L. Taylor Drive, for a suspicious person.

11:14 a.m. Officers responded to Ridgeland Physical Therapy, 10616 South Jacob Smart Boulevard, for a carjacking. Officers located the victim's vehicle at the BP, 10728 South Jacob Smart Boulevard. While at the BP Station, an attempted carjacking took place on South Green Street. The description of the suspct matched that of the first incident. Officers were able to locate the suspect on the train tracks just north of West Main Street. The suspect was seen by witnesses attempting to get on a train as it traveled north. The suspect received numerous injuries as a result. Duane Hamilton, 38, from Ormond Beach, Florida, will be charged with two counts of carjacking, one count of kidnapping and one count of possession of a firearm during the commision of a violent crime.

When officers arrived, they learned that a black Honda Civic stopped behind the vehicle that was broken down. Four unknown male subjects exited the black Honda Civic and one of the subjects presented a handgun. The unknown male subjects departed the scene with an unknown amount of cash after robbing the occupants of the disabled vehicle.

2:22 p.m. Officers responded to a residence on Bees Creek Road for a welfare check.

4:46 p.m. Officers responded to Live Oak Road for a noise complaint.

6:04 p.m. Officers responded to the Siesta Motel, 10530 South Jacob Smart Boulevard, for a shooting incident. Officers arrived to find a shooting victim that was later declared deceased. Jamia Michael Douglas Alnodoval was arrested for murder and transported to the Jasper County Detention Center.

7:05 p.m. Officers responded to East Main Street for a suspicious vehicle.

11:00 a.m. Officers responded to the BP Station, 10728 South Jacob Smart Boulevard, for a welfare check.

11:53 a.m. Officers responded to the 19 mile marker south bound on I-95 for a vehicle collision.

12:36 p.m. Officers responded to Quality Inn, 221 James L. Taylor Drive, for a fraud case. The incident is under further investigation.

2:18 p.m. Officers responded to Quality Inn, 221 James L. Taylor Drive, for larceny of items from a vacant room.

5:14 p.m. Officers responded to the 18 mile marker south bound on I-95 for a vehicle collision.

6:35 p.m. Officers responded to a residence on Shadetree Street for two people arguing.

10:49 p.m. Officers responded to a residence on Shadetree Street for harassment.
