7:32 a.m. Officers responded to the Ridgaland High School football field, 456 Grays Highway, for a welfare check.

4:46 p.m. Officers responded to East Main Street for a vehicle collision involving two vehicles. No injuries were reported.

5:41 p.m. Officers responded to the Family Dollar, 73 South Green Street, for a report of two people arguing in the parking lot.

6:04 p.m. Officers responded to North Jacob Smart Boulevard for a vehicle collision involving one vehicle. No injuries were reported.

6:56 p.m. Officers responded to 1st Avenue for a report of loud noises. Officers were able to determine the noises were fireworks.

7:50 p.m. Officers responded to a residence on Oak Ridge South for a domestic dispute.

9:11 p.m. A red semi was reported as driving recklessly at the 17 mile marker south bound on I-95.

1:42 p.m. Officers responded to a residence on Dolphin Drive for a domestic dispute.

5:03 p.m. Officers responded to Oyo Hotel, 8260 East Main Street, for a report of a suspicious male subject.

5:17 p.m. A tan Lexus sedan was reported as driving recklessly at the 28 mile marker south bound on I-95.

10:30 p.m. Officers responded to the Quality Inn, 221 James L. Taylor Drive, for a suspicious vehicle.

8:13 a.m. Officers met with a complainant at the BP Station, 11122 North Jacob Smart Boulevard, in reference to the complainant being followed by another vehicle.

8:35 a.m. Officers responded to a residence on South Jacob Smart Boulevard for an activated alarm.

9:59 a.m. A white Chevrolet Camaro was reported as driving recklessly on East Adams Street.

11:58 a.m. A blue Toyota 4Runner was reported as driving recklessly at the 28 mile marker south bound on I-95.

12:57 p.m. Officers responded to the 18 mile marker south bound on I-95 for a motorist assist.

2:52 p.m. Officers responded to a residence on North Green Street for a report of a group of males walking through the yard.

9:26 p.m. Officers assisted the Ridgeland Fire Department with a vehicle fire on Fordville Road.

1:26 a.m. Officers responded to a residence on Shade Tree Street for a report of loud music.

2:12 p.m. Officers responded to Honey Comb Lane for a report of a child riding a motorcycle on the roadway.

3:34 p.m. A green VW sedan was reported as driving recklessly at the 30 mile marker south bound on I-95.

4:30 p.m. Officers responded to the Piggly Wiggly, 10847 North Jacob Smart Boulevard, to place a male subject on trespass notice at the request of the business.

6:24 p.m. Officers responded to the intersection of North Jacob Smart Boulevard and North Green Street for a motorist assist.

8:53 p.m. Officers responded to the BP Station, 80 Blue Heron Drive, for a report of an intoxicated male on the property. When officers arrived they located Jeffrey Berry Johnson and he appeared to be under the influence of alcohol. Johnson was arrested for disorderly conduct and transported to the Jasper County Detention Center.

10:17 p.m. Officers responded to a residence on East Wilson Street for a welfare check.

December 27

7:11 a.m. Officers responded to Shade Tree Street to conduct a welfare check at a residence.

8:41 a.m. Officers responded to the Jasper County Detention Center, 12008 North Jacob Smart Boulevard, for an assault and battery. It was reported to responding officers that an inmate assaulted a corrections officer.

9:54 a.m. Officers responded to North Green Street for a report of a suspicious male subject walking in the roadway.

7:07 p.m. A silver Ford Mustang was reported as driving recklessly at the 28 mile marker south bound on I-95.

8:46 p.m. Officers responded to South Jacob Smart Boulevard in front of South State Bank for a report of debris in the roadway.

9:47 p.m. Officers responded to the 21 mile marker south bound on I-95 for a motorist assist.

December 26

5:23 a.m. Officers responded to Shade Tree Street for a report of loud music.

1:05 p.m. Officers responded to Bay Tree Apartments, 107 1st Avenue, for a welfare check on a resident.

1:57 p.m. Officers assisted the South Carolina Highway Patrol with a traffic stop at the 22 mile marker south bound on I-95.

2:16 p.m. Officers responded to Hagin Street for a report of children riding an ATV in the roadway.

5:21 p.m. Officers responded to McDonald's, 8548 Grahamville Road, for a report of an assault and battery. Officers were able to determine that Deanna Parsons was the primary aggressor in the incident and she was arrested for assault and battery, 3rd degree. Parsons was transported to the Jasper County Detention Center.

6:45 p.m. Officers responded to the Carolina Lodge, 8260 East Main Street, for a welfare check.

8:17 p.m. Officers responded to the 17 mile marker south bound on I-95 for a vehicle collision involving two vehicles. No injuries were reported.

4:58 a.m. Officers responded to Coastal Carolina Hospital for a report of a male subject suffering from knife wounds. Officers were able to determine the incident occurred on North Oak Ridge. The incident remains under further investigation.

9:28 a.m. Officers responded to South Jacob Smart Boulevard for a report of two suspicious people.

4:55 p.m. A grey Toyota SUV was reported as driving recklessly at the 8 mile marker north bound on I-95.

8:04 a.m. A gold Geo Prism was reported as driving recklessly at the 37 mile marker south bound on I-95.

10:04 a.m. A motorcycle was reported as driving recklessly at the 17 mile marker north bound on I-95.

10:10 a.m. Officers responded to the 20 mile marker south bound on I-95 for a vehicle collision involving two vehicles. No injuries were reported.

9:36 a.m. Officers responded to New Hong Kong Restaurant, 8176 East Main Street, for an activated alarm.

1:49 p.m. Officers responded to the intersection of Jacob Smart Boulevard and Main Street for a vehicle collision involving two vehicles. No injuries were reported.

5:42 p.m. Officers responded to Family Dollar, 73 South Green Street, for a report of a subject acting suspiciously in the business.

9:36 p.m. Officers responded to the 24 mile marker north bound on I-95 for a vehicle fire.

December 19

12:54 a.m. Officers responded to the 18 mile marker north bound on I-95 for a motorist assist.

8:47 a.m. Officers responded to the Ridgeland Fire Department, 49 South Railroad Avenue, for a report of a male subject with a cut on his arm. When officers arrived they found the male victim with a female companion. After a brief interview, it was determined that the female companion used a knife to cut the male victim. Eloise Anderson was arrested for assault and battery, 1st degree and transported to the Jasper County Detention Center.

5:39 p.m. Officers responded to East Main Street for a report of a suspicious person in the roadway.

5:43 p.m. A yellow four-wheeler was reported as being on the interstate at the 15 mile marker north bound.

10:26 p.m. A silver Honda Accord was reported as driving recklessly at the 10 mile marker north bound on I-95.

December 18

7:56 a.m. Officers responded to the 19 mile marker south bound on I-95 for a motorist assist.

11:41 a.m. Officers responded to Dolphin Drive for a domestic dispute.

3:44 p.m. Officers responded to Bay Tree Apartments, 107 1st Avenue, for a report of two suspicious male subjects knocking on doors.

5:04 p.m. Officers responded to Sycamore Street for a report of a suspicious vehicle.

6:34 p.m. Officers responded to Logan Street for a report of loud noises.

9:34 p.m. Officers responded to the 18 mile marker south bound on I-95 for a motorist assist.

December 17

5:50 p.m. Officers responded to the Sunoco Station, 11965 North Jacob Smart Boulevard, for a shoplifting incident. The incident remains under further investigation.

6:56 p.m. A blue Subaru Outback was reported as driving recklessly at the 12 mile marker north bound on I-95.

December 16

12:09 p.m. Officers responded to Dot's Red Dot, 159 South Green Street, for a report of an intoxicated male in the parking lot. Officers arrived on scene and located Kevin Major and he appeared to be in an intoxicated state. Major was arrested for public intoxication and transported to the Jasper County Detention Center.

2:31 p.m. Officers responded to a residence on Dolphin Drive for an activated alarm.

2:59 p.m. A gold Honda was reported as driving recklessly on Old House Road.

5:02 p.m. A red Chevrolet was reported as driving recklessly at the 14 mile marker north bound on I-95.

8:18 p.m. Officers responded to McDonald's, 8548 Grahamville Road, for a report of a suspicious vehicle.

December 15

12:27 a.m. Officers responded to West Woodlawn for a report of a suspicious person.

10:10 a.m. Officers responded to North Green Street for a suspicious vehicle.

11:05 a.m. Officers observed a Ford F-150 speeding above the posted speed limit as it traveled north on South Jacob Smart Boulevard. Officers conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle and learned that the driver, Juan Carlos Amaya Sanchez did not have a valid driver's license. Sanchez was arrested for speeding and no driver's license and transported to the Jasper County Detention Center.

12:24 p.m. A grey Dodge Charger was reported as driving recklessly on Old House Road.

6:59 p.m. Officers responded to the 22 mile marker north bound on I-95 for a motorist assist.

10:14 p.m. Officers responded to West Main Street for a report of a suspicious vehicle.

December 14

4:23 a.m. Officers responded to the 17 mile marker south bound on I-95 for a vehicle collision involving one vehicle. No injuries were reported.

12:37 p.m. Officers responded to Kingdom Touch Ministries, 6714 Tillman Road, for an activated alarm.

2:55 p.m. Officers responded to the BP Station, 80 Blue Heron Drive, for a vehicle collision involving two vehicles. No injuries were reported.

4:10 p.m. Officers responded to the 22 mile marker north bound on I-95 for a motorist assist.

9:11 p.m. A white Nissan SUV was reported as driving recklessly at the 14 mile marker north bound on I-95.

10:48 p.m. Officers responded to Bay Tree Apartments, 107 1st Avenue, for a report of two females arguing in the parking lot.

December 13

10:15 a.m. Officers observed Anthony Gibson on Jacob Smart Boulevard and arrested him on an outstanding warrant for trespassing after notice. The charge stemmed from an incident on December 13, 2019, where Gibson was on the property of Family Dollar, 73 South Green Street. Gibson was previously placed on trespass notice for the property on August 12, 2019. Gibson was transported to the Jasper County Detention Center.

1:19 p.m. Officers responded to the Boys and Girls Club, 456 Grays Highway, for an activated alarm.

2:32 p.m. Officers responded to the intersection of Bees Creek Road and Grahamville Road for a collision involving a semi truck and a service pole.

3:03 p.m. Officers responded to a residence on West Langford Street for a report of an unwanted guest in a residence.

3:15 p.m. Officers responded to Jasper Bar and Grill, 10735 South Jacob Smart Boulevard, for a report of property damage. The incident remains under further investigation.

7:07 p.m. Officers responded to the 23 mile marker north bound on I-95 for a vehicle collision involving two vehicles. No injuries were reported.

8:38 p.m. Officers responded to the Plantation Inn, 11433 North Jacob Smart Boulevard, for a report of suspicious activity.

9:33 p.m. Officers responded to Sister's Ferry Road to assist the South Carolina Highway Patrol with a vehicle collision.

11:29 p.m. Officers responded to a residence on Ward Court for an activated alarm.

December 12

6:05 a.m. Officers responded to the BP Station, 11122 North Jacob Smart Boulevard, for an activated alarm.

7:07 a.m. A grey pickup was reported as driving recklessly at the 17 mile marker north bound on I-95.

7:28 a.m. Officers responded to the Quality Inn, 221 James L. Taylor Drive, for a report of a suspicious vehicle.

7:34 a.m. Officers responded to Old Logan Street for a vehicle collision. No injuries were reported.

12:33 p.m. Officers responded to the Jasper County Detention Center, 12008 North Jacob Smart Boulevard, for a report of an abandoned vehicle.

1:36 p.m. Officers responded to Bay Tree Apartments, 107 1st Avenue, for a report of two people fighting in a car. The vehicle left prior to the arrival of officers.

2:07 p.m. Officers met with a complainant on East Main Street in reference to an incorrigible juvenile.

3:10 p.m. Officers responded to Firefly Road for a vehicle in a retention pond. No occupants were located in or near the vehicle. The incident remains under further investigation.

5:46 p.m. A black Chevrolet truck was reported as driving recklessly on Glover Road.

3:14 p.m. Officers assisted the South Carolina Highway Patrol with a vehicle collision on Old House Road.

3:27 p.m. Officers responded to Heron Crossing Apartments, 72 Heron Crossing Road, for a report of threatening text messages.

7:01 p.m. Officers responded to North Jacob Smart Boulevard for a report of a suspicious vehicle.

2:29 a.m. Officers responded to Harvey's, 8205 East Main Street, for an activated alarm.

5:39 a.m. Officers responded to a residence on Sailfish Circle in reference to vandalism to a vehicle.

11:46 a.m. A green SUV was reported as driving recklessly at the 12 mile marker north bound on I-95.

2:54 p.m. A silver Honda was reported as driving recklessly at the 30 mile marker south bound on I-95.

3:35 p.m. Officers responded to the 17 mile marker south bound on I-95 for a motorist assist.

4:27 p.m. Officers responded to Glover Road for a report of people riding ATV's in the roadway.

December 7

12:50 a.m. Officers responded to Coosaw Scenic Drive for a vehicle collision involving one vehicle. One person was transported by EMS to a local hospital.

10:44 a.m. Officers responded to the 18 mile marker north bound for a motorist assist.

11:35 a.m. Officers responded to exit 18 north bound for a vehicle fire.

1:31 p.m. A black Dodge Charger was reported as driving recklessly at the 24 mile marker south bound on I-95.

7:51 p.m. Officers responded to West Woodlawn Street for a report of a suspicious vehicle.

10:12 p.m. A red Mitsubishi was reported as driving recklessly on 3rd Avenue.

December 6

1:43 a.m. Officers responded to a residence on Wall Street for a report of a suspicious person in the yard.

3:16 a.m. Officers responded to the BP Station, 80 Blue Heron Drive, for an armed robbery. After an investigation was conducted, officers were able to identify Deshone O'Neal Allen as the suspect. A warrant was obtained charging Allen with armed robbery. On December 9, 2019, Allen was located within the town limits and arrested for the offense. Allen was transported to the Jasper County Detention Center.

12:25 p.m. Officers responded to the BP Station, 10728 South Jacob Smart Boulevard, for a vehicle collision involving one vehicle and a pedestrian. The pedestrian was transported by EMS to a local hospital.

5:09 p.m. Officers responded to the parking lot of Harvey's, 8205 East Main Street, for a report of found property.

11:26 p.m. Officers responded to a residence on Wood Duck Street for a report of loud music.

December 5

4:05 a.m. Officers responded to West Langford Street for a report of a suspicious person.

6:57 a.m. Officers responded to a residence on West Main Street for an incorrigible juvenile.

9:56 a.m. Officers responded to North Logan Street for a report of a suspicious person.

12:23 p.m. Officers responded to a residence on North Green Street for a suspicious phone call.

3:17 p.m. Officers responded to Hagin Street for a report of cats running at large.

5:53 p.m. A vehicle was reported as driving north bound in the south bound lanes of I-95 at the 21 mile marker.

7:34 p.m. A white Ford truck was reported as driving recklessly on Rice Shire Road.

10:41 p.m. Officers responded to the BP Station, 80 Blue Heron Drive, for a report of a male subject trespassing on the property. Eugene Lebby was located on the property and officers confirmed that Lebby was previously placed on trespass notice for the property. Lebby was arrested for trespassing after notice and transported to the Jasper County Detention Center.

3:15 p.m. Officers responded to a residence on West Langford Street for a welfare check.

4:47 p.m. Officers responded to Weathersbee Street for a report of a dog running at large.

8:23 p.m. A black Dodge SUV was reported as driving recklessly at the 13 mile marker north bound on I-95.

11:21 p.m. Officers responded to Shade Tree Street for a report of a suspicious vehicle.

December 3

11:33 a.m. Officers responded to the Family Dollar, 73 South Green Street, for a report of a customer causing a scene in the business.

11:46 a.m. Officers responded to the Waffle House, 8185 East Main Street, for a report of a lost cell phone.

5:54 p.m. Officers responded to the parking lot of Family Dollar, 73 South Green Street, for a report of a male subject panhandling. The male subject was gone when officers arrived.

6:11 p.m. Officers responded to the intersection of West Langford Street and Jacob Smart Boulevard for a report of a suspicious person. Officers located Henry Edward Burrison and found him to be intoxicated. Burrison was arrested for public disorderly conduct and transported to the Jasper County Detention Center.

December 2

4:26 a.m. Officers responded to South Jacob Smart Boulevard for a report of a suspicious female subject in the roadway.

8:26 a.m. Officers responded to the BP Station, 80 Blue Heron Drive, for a motorist assist.

1:03 p.m. A silver Kia Soul was reported as driving recklessly on Grays Highway.

1:16 p.m. Officers responded to the parking lot of McDonald's, 8548 Grahamville Road, for a suspicious item in a trash can. The item turned out to be a flannel blanket.

1:57 p.m. Officers responded to Kingdom Touch Ministries, 6714 Tillman Road, for an activated alarm.

7:02 p.m. Officers responded to Ridgeland Veteran's Memorial Park for a vehicle collision involving one vehicle. After a short investigation, Derrick Nichols, of Ridgeland, SC, was arrested for driving under the influence. Nichols was transported to the Jasper County Detention Center.

7:13 p.m. A blue Nissan Maxima was reported as driving recklessly at the 32 mile marker south bound on I-95.

December 1

3:05 p.m. A black semi truck was reported as driving recklessly at the 23 mile marker south bound on I-95.

7:34 a.m. Officers responded to a residence on 1st Avenue for an incorrigible juvenile.

11:51 a.m. Officers responded to the Travel Lodge, 8216 East Main Street, for a welfare check.

12:14 p.m. A blue Toyota Camry was reported as driving recklessly on Coosaw Scenic Drive.

1:08 p.m. Officers responded to the 18 mile marker south bound on I-95 for a vehicle collision involving two vehicles. No injuries were reported.

1:28 p.m. Officers responded to the 19 mile marker south bound on I-95 for a vehicle collision involving three vehicles. One person was transported by EMS to a local hospital.

10:30 p.m. Officers responded to Ole Bakery, 7785 West Main Street, for a report of the smell of smoke.

December 10

9:10 a.m. Officers responded to Harvey's, 8205 East Main Street, for a report of a male subject trespassing at the business. Ronald Palmer was located on the property and he had previously been placed on trespass notice at request of the business. Palmer was arrested for trespassing after notice and transported to the Jasper County Detention Center.

12:25 p.m. A black motorcycle was reported as driving recklessly on Old House Road.

6:56 p.m. Officers responded to the intersection of South Jacob Smart Boulevard and Adams Street for a report of a female subject yelling at a male subject. When officers arrived they observed Eloise Simmons acting in a loud manner using profanity. Simmons was arrested for public disorderly conduct and transported to the Jasper County Detention Center.

8:47 p.m. Officers responded to West Adams Street for a report of a male subject walking in the roadway with a flashlight.

9:24 p.m. Officers conducted a traffic stop on a black Dodge Charger on East Main Street near Sycamore Drive. The driver of the vehicle, Brian Lee Wyndham, was wanted on a warrant from Hampton County. Wyndham was arrested and transported to the Hampton County Detention Center.
