5:18 a.m. Officers responded to the 22 mile marker north bound on I-95 for a vehicle collision involving one vehicle. No injuries were reported.

10:43 a.m. Officers responded to East Main Street for debris in the roadway.

1:40 p.m. A black Honda Civic was reported as driving recklessly at the 15 mile marker north bound on I-95.

2:08 p.m. A blue GMC truck was reported as driving recklessly on Tillman Road.

4:47 p.m. Officers responded to a residence on Trout Street for a domestic dispute.

Officers responded to a residence on 2nd Avenue for an activated alarm.

7:25 p.m. Officers responded to a residence on Oak Ridge North for a civil matter.

August 29

11:15 a.m. Officers responded to a residence on Trout Street for a report of an open door.

12:40 p.m. Officers responded to the BP Station, 80 Blue Heron Drive, for a report of an intoxicated male subject on the property. When officers arrived they located Edward Albert Bashlor. It was determined that Bashlor was intoxicated as he was in public and he was arrested for disorderly conduct. Bashlor was transported to the Jasper County Detention Center.

9:29 p.m. Officers responded to the 19 mile marker north bound on I-95 for a motorist assist.

August 28

8:39 a.m. Officers responded to a residence on 1st Avenue for a report of threatening notes being left on vehicles in the yard.

11:57 a.m. Officers responded to a residence on Dolphin Drive for a report of threatening text messages.

12:12 p.m. Officers responded to Bay Tree Apartments, 107 1st Avenue, for a report of loud noises in the parking lot.

3:55 p.m. Officers responded to Grahamville Road for a vehicle collision involving two vehicles. No injuries were reported.

9:59 p.m. Officers responded to Bay Tree Apartments, 107 1st Avenue, for a report of loud noises in the parking lot.

4:26 a.m. Officers responded to a residence on Red Drum Street for a report of an unwanted subject walking around the property.

1:57 p.m. A white semi was reported as driving recklessly at the 26 mile marker south bound on I-95.

2:55 p.m. Officers responded to Dolphin Drive for a report of property being stolen from a vehicle. The incident remains under further investigation.

5:23 p.m. Officers responded to a residence on Eleanor Avenue for a report of damage to a vehicle while it was parked at that residence.

7:24 p.m. Officer responded to a residence on Red Drum Street for a matter involving a juvenile.

August 25

11:03 a.m. Officers responded to Bay Tree Apartments, 107 1st Avenue, for a report of damage to property.

11:05 a.m. Officers observed a vehicle on I-95 with an altered vehicle license and conducted a traffic stop. During the stop, officers received consent to search the vehicle. During the search officers located a quantity of meth. Leslie Cristina Rautanen was arrested for possession with intent to distribute meth and transported to the Jasper County Detention Center.

2:32 p.m. Officers responded to the Jasper County Sheriff's Office, 12008 North Jacob Smart Boulevard, for a report of a suspicious person.

5:24 p.m. Officers responded to the 18 mile marker north bound on I-95 for a vehicle collision involving one vehicle. No injuries were reported.

6:16 p.m. Officers responded to the Waffle House, 8185 East Main Street, for a report of a suspicious person.

Officers responded to a residence on 3rd Avenue to speak with a complainant in reference to a hit and run collision that occurred earlier in the day.

9:41 p.m. Officers responded to the Waffle House, 8185 East Main Street, for a report of a suspicious person.

11:01 p.m. Officers responded to Rice Shire Road for a motorist assist.

August 24

6:19 a.m. Officers responded to the Quality Inn, 221 James L. Taylor Drive, for a report of a suspicious male subject. The subject was located and placed on trespass notice.

11:47 a.m. Officers responded to a residence on North Jacob Smart Boulevard for a welfare check on a dog.

12:23 p.m. Officers responded to the 18 exit off ramp south bound on I-95 for a tree in the roadway.

3:25 p.m. Officers responded to North Jacob Smart Boulevard for a vehicle collision involving two vehicles. No injuries were reported.

4:59 p.m. Officers responded to the parking lot of Harvey's, 8205 East Main Street, for a 911 hang up call from a cellular phone.

Officers responded to South Green Street for a tree in the roadway.

8:16 p.m. Officers located an abandoned motorcycle in the roadway of East Main Street. The vehicle was towed by a wrecker service from rotation to their facility.

8:31 p.m. Officers responded to the Quality Inn, 221 James L. Taylor Drive, for a report of a male subject trespassing on the property. When officers arrived they located Matthew Paul Lester, who was placed on trespass notice earlier in the day. Lester was arrested and transported to the Jasper County Detention Center.

9:12 p.m. Officers responded to McDonald's, 8548 Grahamville Road, for an activated alarm.

August 23

5:34 a.m. Officers responded to West Main Street for debris in the roadway.

12:16 p.m. Officers responded to Heron Crossing Apartments, 313 Heron Crossing Road, for a domestic dispute. A warrant affidavit has been submitted charging James Williams with domestic violence and malicious injury to property.

1:49 p.m. A black Kia Sportage was reported as driving recklessly at the 26 mile marker south bound on I-95.

4:38 p.m. Officers responded to the Sunoco Station, 11965 North Jacob Smart Boulevard, for a report of a suspicious male subject.

August 22

8:45 a.m. Officers responded to the Post Office, 7554 West Main Street, for a report of property damage. The incident remains under further investigation.

4:04 p.m. Officers transported a patient to a facility in Charleston for a mental evaluation.

10:29 p.m. Officers responded to a residence on East Woodlawn Street for a report of an armadillo in the yard.

10:43 p.m. Officers responded to Sisters Ferry Road for tree debris in the roadway.

12:49 p.m. A black Dodge van was reported as driving recklessly at the 13 mile marker north bound on I-95.

2:53 p.m. Officers responded to a residence on Brandon Cove for a report of people arguing in the yard. The subjects were gone when officers arrived in the area.

3:15 p.m. Officers responded to the BP Station, 10728 South Jacob Smart Boulevard, for a report of people loitering in the parking lot.

4:54 p.m. Officers responded to Glover Road for a report of two dogs running at large.

August 19

2:01 a.m. Officers responded to Sycamore Drive for a motorist assist.

6:40 a.m. Officers responded to Old House Road for a report of a suspicious female subject in the roadway.

11:06 a.m. Officers responded to Harvey's Supermarket, 8205 East Main Street, for a report of an irate customer. The customer was placed on trespass notice for the business at the request of a manager.

4:35 p.m. A red Nissan Titan was reported as driving recklessly on Grays Highway.

5:57 p.m. A motor home was reported as driving recklessly at the 23 mile marker south bound on I-95.

A white Chrysler 300 was reported as driving recklessly at the 25 mile marker south bound on I-95.

August 18

12:44 p.m. Officers responded to Creative Furniture, 7797 West Main Street, for a report of a breech of trust. The incident remains under further investigation.

4:58 p.m. Officers responded to the 23 mile marker north bound on I-95 for a motorist assist.

5:01 p.m. Officers responded to the 21 mile marker north bound on I-95 for a motorist assist.

7:11 p.m. Officers responded to a residence on Hagin Drive for an assault and battery. The victim refused to prosecute.

11:42 p.m. Officers responded to the BP Station, 80 Blue Heron Drive, for a report of a male subject being loud and using profanity in public. The subject was located and instructed by officers not to use profanity while in public. The subject, Brandon Peters, continued to be loud and use profanity after being warned. Peters was arrested for disorderly conduct and transported to the Jasper County Detention Center.

August 17

10:04 a.m. Officers responded to the 18 mile marker north bound on I-95 for a motorist assist.

10:22 a.m. Officers responded to Carters Mill Road for a report of a child throwing rocks at passing vehicles. The officers were unable to locate the child.

10:53 a.m. Officers responded to the BP Station, 10728 South Jacob Smart Boulevard, for a fight in progress in the parking lot. When officers arrived,the two subjects involved were no longer fighting and had departed the scene. Damien Busby was located a short distance away and he met the description of one of the subjects. Busby was previously placed on trespass notice for the property and he was arrested for trespass after notice. Busby was transported to the Jasper County Detention Center.

2:53 p.m. Officers responded to a residence on West Main Street for a welfare check on animals located at the property.

6:16 p.m. Officers responded to Aussie Auto Body, 1010 West Main Street, for an activated alarm.

Officers responded to the Enmarket, 8250 East Main Street, for a report of people loitering in the parking lot.

August 16

5:41 a.m. Officers responded to Captain Bill Road to assist EMS with a patient transport.

12:37 p.m. Officers responded to North Jacob Smart Boulevard for a vehicle collision involving one vehicle. No injuries were reported.

3:30 p.m. Officers responded to North Jacob Smart Boulevard for a vehicle collision involving two vehicles. No injuries were reported.

6:45 p.m. Officers responded to a residence on Augusta Avenue for a report of property damage.

7:28 p.m. Officers responded to Grays Highway for a report of a motorcycle traveling at a high rate of speed.

A grey Nissan Altima was reported as driving recklessly at the 18 mile marker north bound on I-95.

August 15

1:26 a.m. Officers responded to Bay Tree Apartments, 107 1st Avenue, for a report of loud noises in the parking lot.

12:10 p.m. Officers responded to Grayco, 119 Industrial Park Road, for a vehicle collision involving two vehicles in the parking lot. No injuries were reported.

1:42 p.m. A blue Audi sedan was reported as driving recklessly at the 16 mile marker north bound on I-95.

7:53 p.m. Officers responded to the 18 mile marker north bound on I-95 for a motorist assist.

7:54 p.m. Officers responded to a residence on 2nd Avenue for a report of property damage.

7:08 a.m. Officers responded to the 23 mile marker south bound on I-95 for a vehicle collision involving two vehicles. No injuries were reported.

2:42 p.m. Officers responded to Grays Highway for a vehicle collision involving two vehicles. No injuries were reported.

7:17 p.m. A blue GMC truck was reported as driving on Coosaw Scenic Drive.

1:27 a.m. Officers conducted a traffic stop on a gold mercury sedan for an equipment violation. The driver of the vehicle, Kerry Chris Minix did not have a valid driver's license. Minix was arrested for no driver's license and transported to the Jasper County Detention Center. A wrecker from rotation towed the vehicle to their facility.

11:40 a.m. Officers responded to Shade Tree Street to assist EMS with a patient transport.

2:23 a.m. Officers responded to the 18 mile marker north bound on I-95 for an unruly subject on a Greyhound bus.

2:35 p.m. Officers responded to the 19 mile marker south bound on I-95 for a motorist assist.

11:36 a.m. Officers responded to the intersection of Grays Highway and Town Hall Square for a vehicle collision involving two vehicles. One person was transported by EMS.

3:35 p.m. Officers responded to the Citgo Station, 107 Sycamore Drive, for a report of a group of males loitering in the parking lot.

5:02 p.m. Officers responded to the 19 mile marker north bound on I-95 for a vehicle collision involving two vehicles. No injuries were reported.

6:17 p.m. Officers responded to North Jacob Smart Boulevard for a vehicle collision involving two vehicles. No injuries were reported.

August 9

11:34 a.m. Officers responded to Ridgeland Coin Laundry, 10246 South Jacob Smart Boulevard, in reference to a stolen wallet. The incident remains under further investigation.

6:38 p.m. Officers responded to EnMarket, 8250 East Main Street, for a possible scam involving an employee and a subject they met on-line.

11:27 p.m. Officers conducted a traffic stop on a white SUV on East Main Street for multiple moving violations. The driver of the vehicle, Salvador Ruiz Sierra, was found to be under the influence of alcohol. Sierra was arrested for driving under the influence and transported to the Jasper County Detention Center. A wrecker from rotation towed the vehicle to their facility.

August 8

12:14 a.m. Officers responded to a residence on Trout Street for a domestic dispute between boyfriend and girlfriend.

9:55 a.m. A silver Toyota Camry was reported as driving recklessly at the 20 mile marker south bound on I-95.

11:32 a.m. Officers responded to a residence on 2nd Avenue for a report of found property.

7:03 p.m. Officers responded to North Jacob Smart Boulevard for a motorist assist.

7:14 p.m. Officers assisted EMS with a patient on Sycamore Drive.

Officers responded to Shade Tree Street for a report of a large group of people arguing in the roadway.

August 7

12:54 a.m. Officers responded to Old House Road for a vehicle collision involving one vehicle and a deer. No injuries were reported.

9:06 a.m. Officers responded to Boat 'N RV World, 401 Sycamore Drive, for a report of an ae-employee on the property that the business wanted removed.

11:19 a.m. Officers responded to a residence on East Wilson Street for an activated alarm.

6:55 p.m. Officers responded to the 21 mile marker south bound on I-95 for a motorist assist.

11:19 p.m. Officers responded to the 19 mile marker north bound on I-95 for a vehicle fire.

August 6

12:09 a.m. Officers responded to a residence on Shade Tree Street for an argument between roommates. Officers learned that one of the parties involved, Kimberly Katrina Powell, had an outstanding warrant. Powell was arrested for an outstanding warrant with S.C. Probation and Parole and transported to the Jasper County Detention Center.

3:48 a.m. Officers responded to North Green Street for a report of a dog running at large.

1:28 p.m. Officers responded to the 22 mile marker north bound on I-95 for a motorist assist.

3:40 p.m. Officers responded to the 18 mile marker north bound on I-95 for a vehicle collision involving two vehicles. No injuries were reported.

5:38 p.m. Officers responded to the 23 mile marker north bound on I-95 for a motorist assist.

Officers responded to Bay Tree Apartments, 107 1st Avenue, for a report of an unresponsive male subject. The male subject was pronounced deceased. No foul play is suspected. The incident remains under further investigation.

August 5

6:00 a.m. Officers responded to the BP Station, 80 Blue Heron Drive, for a vehicle collision involving two vehicles. No injuries were reported.

12:20 p.m. A red Dodge Charger was reported as driving recklessly at the 14 mile marker north bound on I-95.

5:18 p.m. A blue convertible was reported as driving recklessly on Old House Road.

6:08 p.m. Officers responded to Glover Road for a report of dogs running at large.

9:31 p.m. Officers responded to Coosaw Scenic Road for a motorist assist.

August 4

2:40 a.m. A red Jeep Cherokee was reported as driving recklessly at the 28 mile marker south bound on I-95.

10:00 a.m. Officers conducted a search warrant at a room at the Forest Motel, 10504 South Jacob Smart Boulevard, in reference to a narcotics investigation. As a result of the search, Avrelius Deveaux was arrested for distribution of crack cocaine. Deveaux was transported to the Jasper County Detention Center.

8:46 p.m. Officers responded to a residence on Red Drum Street for a report of property damage.

9:02 p.m. Officers responded to South State Bank, 10671 South Jacob Smart Boulevard, for an activated alarm.

August 3

12:53 a.m. A green truck was reported as driving recklessly at the 21 mile marker north bound on I-95.

11:18 a.m. Officers responded to the 22 mile marker south bound on I-95 for a vehicle collision involving one vehicle. No injuries were reported.

11:21 p.m. Officers responded to West Main Street for a report of a suspicious male subject.
