3:32 p.m. Officers responded to the BP Station, 80 Blue Heron Drive, for a hit and run vehicle collision. A vehicle reportedly struck the business and left the scene. The incident remains under further investigation.

8:31 p.m. Officers responded to Malphrus Street for a report of a vehicle parked in the roadway.

11:34 p.m. Officers responded to Blue Heron Drive for a motorist assist.

12:51 a.m. A grey Chevrolet sedan was reported as driving recklessly at the 28 mile marker south bound on I-95.

4:28 a.m. Officers responded to the 22 mile marker south bound on I-95 for a motorist assist.

7:33 a.m. A black Ford Ranger was reported as driving recklessly at the 25 mile marker south bound on I-95.

4:06 p.m. Officers met with a complainant at the Ridgeland Police Department in reference to a breech of trust vehicle. The incident remains under further investigation.

4:20 p.m. A gold Cadillac was reported as driving recklessly at the 18 mile marker south bound on I-95.

7:04 p.m. Officers responded to a residence on West Langford Street for an activated alarm.

9:21 a.m. A black Volvo sedan was reported as driving recklessly at the 12 mile marker north bound on I-95.

1:11 p.m. Officers responded to Ivy Street for a vehicle collision involving two vehicles. No injuries were reported.

2:52 p.m. Officers responded to a residence on East Adams Street for a report of tree debris being placed on private property by a neighbor.

3:43 p.m. Officers responded to a residence on Honeycomb Lane for a domestic dispute between husband and wife.

11:58 a.m. Officers responded to the Probate Judge's Office for a pickup order. The subject of the pickup order was detained and taken to a medical facility for an evaluation.

4:52 p.m. Officers responded to the Forest Motel, 10504 South Jacob Smart Boulevard, for a report of a suspicious person.

9:27 p.m. Officers responded to a residence on West Langford Street for an activated alarm.

April 22

10:04 a.m. Officers responded to the Enmarket, 8205 East Main Street, for a report of a male subject panhandling.

3:00 p.m. Officers traveled to the Hampton County Detention Center to pick up David Madison Freeman on larceny charges. The charges stemmed from an incident that occurred on March 3, 2020, where a utility trailer was stolen. Investigators were able to determine Freeman was a suspect and a warrant was issued. Freeman was transported to the Jasper County Detention Center.

7:44 p.m. Officers assisted the Jasper County Sheriff's Office with a shots fired call on Belfield Lane.

10:39 p.m. Officers responded to a residence on 1st Avenue for a report of an incorrigible juvenile.

10:47 p.m. Officers responded to a residence on West Langford Street for an activated alarm.

1:48 p.m. Officers responded to the 23 mile marker north bound on I-95 for a male subject walking on the interstate.

2:23 p.m. Officers responded to Boat N RV World, 401 Sycamore Drive, for a 911 hang up call.

2:44 p.m. Officers responded to a residence on Benson Lane for a report of a company offering to pay the resident to be a secret shopper. The resident thought the incident was a scam and officers collected evidence from the scene.

7:40 p.m. Officers responded to Bay Tree Apartments, 107 1st Avenue, for a report of an intoxicated male subject. Officers were unable to locate the subject.

April 18

10:11 a.m. Officers responded to a residence on Brandon Cove for a report of a snake trying to gain entry into the residence.

11:17 a.m. Officers responded to a residence on Colony Drive for a report of a stolen vehicle. The vehicle was later recovered in Orangeburg County. The incident remains under further investigation.

1:41 p.m. Officers responded to the BP Station, 11122 North Jacob Smart Boulevard, for a report of a male subject refusing to leave the property. Damien Busby was placed on trespass notice at request of the business.

11:31 p.m. Officers observed a dark colored Chevrolet SUV swerving on Smith's Crossing Road and made a traffic stop on the vehicle. The driver of the vehicle, Jake Burgess, Jr., was found to be under the influence. Burgess was arrested for DUI, no driver's license and open container. He was transported to the Jasper County Detention Center.

April 17

7:41 a.m. Officers responded to Logan Lane Apartments, 544 South Logan Street, for a report of loud music.

10:03 a.m. Officers responded to BP Station, 11122 North Jacob Smart Boulevard, for a report of a shoplifting incident. A warrant affidavit has been submitted charging Joseph Sinclair-Marino with shoplifting.

1:24 p.m. Officers responded to a residence on Queen's Way for a 911 hang up call.

8:17 p.m. Officers responded to McDonald's, 8548 Grahamville Road, for report of a male subject panhandling.

9:21 p.m. Officers responded to Sailfish Circle for a report of loud noises.

5:51 a.m. Officers responded to the BP Station, 80 Blue Heron Drive, tp place a male subject on trespass notice at the request of the manger of the business.

8:52 a.m. Officers responded to a residence on Colony Drive for a report of a vehicle being broken into during the night. The incident remains under further investigation.

10:31 a.m. Officers responded to Heron Crossing Apartments, 72 Heron Crossing Road, for a suspicious vehicle.

12:52 p.m. Officers responded to the BP Station, 11122 North Jacob Smart Boulevard, for a report of a lost check in the parking lot. Witnesses observed a female subject pick up the check and leave in a red Ford SUV. The incident remains under further investigation.

4:31 p.m. Officers responded to a residence on East Adams Street for a civil matter involving the neighbor.

April 12

6:16 a.m. Officers responded to the BP Station, 80 Blue Heron Drive, where Alexis Shonta Amy Barr was arrested for breach of trust. This incident stemmed from a report that officers took at the business the previous week. Barr was transported to the Jasper County Detention Center.

8:39 a.m. Officers responded to the Day's Inn, 8216 East Main Street, for a civil matter involving a tenant.

10:06 a.m. Officers responded to the 22 mile marker south bound on I-95 to assist the South Carolina Highway Patrol.

4:18 p.m. Officers responded to Carters Mill Road for a report of a dog running at large.
