The Ridgeland Police Department, in partnership with the South Carolina Department of Consumer Affairs (SCDCA), will host a free community event to educate Ridgeland and Jasper County residents about how to recognize and avoid common scams.
The event will take place on Thursday, July 9, 2026, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Lakeside at Blue Heron Community Center, located at:
