Judge Thomas L. Scoggins

Judge Scoggins has served as the Chief Municipal Judge for the Town of Ridgeland for the past 10 years and is the Town's first full-time Municipal Judge.  Judge Scoggins also serves as an Associate Judge for the City of Hardeeville.

The Judge is a lifetime resident of Jasper County and the Town of Ridgeland.  He and his wife Diaz have three children and five grandchildren.

Judge Scoggins is a Magna Cum Laude graduate of Limestone College with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration Management.  Prior to his current position, Judge Scoggins served twenty-five years as a Deputy Sheriff for Jasper County and a Deputy U.S. Marshal.  Scoggins is a U.S. Air Force Vietnam Veteran, is a member of the S.C. Summary Court Judges Association, and is certified by the S.C. Court Administration.
